They're back!! I guess the GOP in Michigan didn't get the rebranding memo.

The return of trans-vaginal ultrasounds!!

Months after a Virginia measure to make women undergo the intrusive procedure before getting an abortion came to symbolize Democratic claims of a GOP "war on women," Michigan Republicans are getting into the act. Legislation being pushed by a Republican state representative, and co-sponsored by 22 of his colleagues, would mandate women undergo the procedure at least two hours before an abortion.

Republicans killing their chances for a future on the national scene.

Edit. What happens if they miscarry? Do they have to get one two hours after?

2nd Edit: I think these are the folks Rove doesn't want going into the primaries.

Yup, which is exactly the problem. Women need to start using them on these Republicans.

Hmm I seem to remember some around here suggesting that when the government takes our liberties the 2nd amendment provides a solution.

PS. How did you edit your post without edited by showing up?

If a post is edited quickly after being posted the edit won't show up. I can't remember how many seconds or minutes must lapse before an edit does show up, but it's not much.

Changes made within a minute or so aren't tagged as edited. I should know because #%*#€$ Android phones often do the unexpected, which I mostly catch, but often after the initial post.

Abortion is to right wingers what guns are to left wingers. It's a topic they get completely irrational about. They aren't content just to not have one themselves, they want to force others to agree with their perspective. They know they don't have the political power to ban it (guns or abortion), so they resort to trying stupid things to slowly chip away at the established rights.

Don't women know you can shut down your reproductive system if you truly don't want the kid?

Here's a compromise solution that has something for everyone. Ban vaginas which can hold more than 13 rounds.

The question is does the government have the right to regulate medial procedures?

If these procedures are no longer in the middle would that change how the government regulates.

Why is it important for procedures to be medial?

Actually if they really wanted to lower abortion rates folks should

Stop treating sex as a taboo and really discuss the pros and cons with their kids
Stop treating out of wedlock pregnancy as a sin and shameful as that leads to abortions or dumpster babies for younger uniformed women.

Stop treating birth as a medical condition that costs $12000

Improve adoption processes

Unregulate Plan B and destigmatize contraception.
