Watching Meet the Press right now... she really dislikes gay people huh.

Her husband is looking more and more like the conservative closet gay who goes overboard bashing gays. He also has that program at his clinic to "cure" teh gay. Or maybe he's just a flamboyant hetero with good taste in women's clothing.

He's the Tea Party Princess's stylist and personal shopper.

Dr. Bachmann has played a central role in Michele Bachmann's meteoric political ascent — particularly when it comes to her wardrobe.

A self-described "strategist" for his wife's campaign, Dr.

Bachmann is the Congresswoman's body man, image consultant, and personal shopper. It's an important campaign role for any female politician and one Dr. Bachmann apparently does well.

"He's got a good sense of style," Michele Bachmann told the Minneapolis Star Tribune in 2006, adding that before an event with then-Vice President Dick Cheney, Dr. Bachmann hit the stores for his wife and came home with "a sleek, simple hourglass dress with a yoke collar in winter white....I just slipped it on."

No, he believes that it's none of the federal governments business to be providing those things. Let states do things the way they choose. Why do Democrats insist on a one size fits all government for hundreds of millions of people spanning a massive piece of land with wildly varying ideas of how to live life?

But if you want to be one of the ignorant buffoons who insists that Ron Paul wants us to all go back to being subsistence farmers, I can't stop you.

Im curious then, what exactly does Mr Paul think?

this is true.

the problem is that no one else does, so who cares about his fanatical brigade?

No, what you're referring to is corporate backing - so these polls you're referring to is the polls where the guy who spends the most and/or has the larger companies backing him - usually wins.

Ron Paul has more supporters than people like you and the media put out there. I think the issue is that he is becoming very mainstream to the online audience caused from the mass support he is receiving online, and apparently everyone has forgotten what comes with this online group - idiots. (Not that I think it's completely a bad thing. I think Ron Paul is bringing issues to public who normally would never have cared. THIS IS GOOD!)

Yet the media like to point out only these people on Rons' support, putting it out there like these are his only supporters or at least a large majority.

There are a hellova lot of Ron Paul supporters that are not fanatical morons, even though you and people wanting to belittle his support keep wanting to put it out there like that is all he has.

If your candidate was getting shafted in the way Ron has been, then you would be a little pissy too. The problem with you and others not understanding this is a relative one.

Ron Paul can't get above 9% in any real poll.

He won 35 delegates last time around, that is 1.6% of them.

He doesn't have a chance this time either. Distant 4th is the best he can do.

Polly want a cracker?

Regardless of whether or not you approve of Ron Paul, you can not deny that he is reaching many parts of the public which would have otherwise never been interested in these serious issues in politics. It's great politics is getting more attention.

I agree with you on Bachmann. Perry is the end of her.

Polls already show that, go to the one on drudge right now.
29% Perry
19% Romney
13% Bachmann
9% Paul

Bachmann probably goes down from here.

I thought in a democracy the people get to choose who is president?

So you're using these polls as a viable example of how the presidential race may go, right? Of course you are.

Do you actually believe that Perry, who just came into the race, has over 3x the amount of supporters that Ron Paul has?

Yes I do.

Paul is a fringe candidate who can't get over 10% of the vote in any REAL competition.

He got 4671 people to show up to one event. Much better than last time. However, McCain came in 10th last time and still won the nomination.

Furthermore the winer of the straw poll has won the White House ONE time and that was W. and that was because no one else ran against him.

And just to be clear Paul will not finish better than 4th in any race unless Perry, Romney or Bachmann drop out.

And that's the fundamental problem with Ron Paul. He's not arguing that we can have cheaper, for efficient government. He's not arguing that through judicious use of funding and planning, we can get a lot of government benefit without the government waste. No, instead he's arguing (without in any way PROVING it) that the government in general and our whole economic system is fundamentally broken and we should just go back to basing our economy on sea shells and bartering for pigs.

He's not a "libertarian", he's not "small government". He's just totally out to lunch...

Rainsford, you have, and have had, unanswered PM's for quite some time.

Clearly you have your mind set and so do I. I guess we will just have to see what happens.

I just don't understand how you come to the conclusion that Ron Paul is still a fringe candidate nowadays when you consider the amount of support that is seen on forums, bumper stickers on cars, shirts people are wearing, and just overall support that is seen everywhere.

Idk, maybe it's a relative to our environments. I do live in Texas after all. But for me, and my area, Ron Paul seems to be the first choice to replace Obama. Yeah the news might mention Perry a bit for obvious reasons, but I never see anyone supporting Perry in any way. Never seen any Perry or Romney bumper stickers, or shirts being worn, really just never promoted in any way outside of news stations or ads.
