Apparantly you have that amazing ability to do that.
Standard conservative crap.

That's funny. A lot of people tend to judge President George W. Bush based on his speaking abilities. What's the difference?

I guess we should all believe "Bowling for Columbine" to be the "documentary" he says it is, too, eh?
Take everything with a grain of salt.

I bet that you people watch Bush speak, and cheer for him. Sad.

You lack the capability to attack the message, and not the person.

This link is the synopsis of me vs. you.
I have been over this arguement 203948239024 times.

😕

Uhhh...where did I attack Michael Moore personally and not his message? My response to his letter is on the first page of this thread. I responded to the points in his letter. Did I call him an idiot or a moron as others have without offering any kind of decent response? No, I did not and I challenge you to point out where I did.

And correcting grammar on the internet? Hunh?? Not in this thread. I have in others but usually done as a joke.

BTW, it's 'argument'. 😉

And labeling me a 'conservative' because I disagree with Michael Moore's views? Or that I support Bush in this forced disarmament of Saddam? Hmmmm...generalizing a bit, aren't we?

point #1:
All of Moore's points are 100% valid.
If you try and argue against them, then you are as ignorant as the next middle american slob.

Take everything with a grain of salt.

Should I finish it for you? I believe you meant to type "unless it comes from me" at the end of that.

point #2:
How can you tell what sort of person I am? Obviously it requires online clairvoyance.
Apparantly you have that amazing ability to do that.

conjur, no you attacked ME, not Moore. That's what I was referring to.

Should I finish it for you? I believe you meant to type "unless it comes from me" at the end of that.
Again you, attack the person, not the message.

I made that statement AT you. I was being judged, by someone who does not even know my name.
I'm not sure how, or why you tried to turn it around on me, but you did.

IOW, you lack the capability to form a reasoned response. Gotcha.
This, links directly to..

this, which is basically contradicting one another. A "reasoned response", would include grammar.

And labeling me a 'conservative' because I disagree with Michael Moore's views? Or that I support Bush in this forced disarmament of Saddam? Hmmmm...generalizing a bit, aren't we?
Yes, I can generlize as well as anyone else on this forum. Including yourself.

Bowling for columbine was bland, and I don't really see why he made a total rhetorical film.

For now I'm done arguing, it's a waste of my time. You two will be part of the group saying "Bush's policies really helped our economy" or "Bush's term was not a total farce" or "I don't mind paying off the debt from all the deficit spending Bush did." or "I really didn't mind losing my job in the crash bush and his friends created".

Run along, watch your fox news, and cheer for the boys.
Its costing you only 33 billion, I hope its worth it.

Where????

Ok, I will attack you (and quote Python at the same time), "You're a loony!"

Most of the below you are attacking fuzzybee, not me. Get your quoting straight.

See ya...don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Besides, you obviously didn't even read my response to Michael Moore if you think *I* think Bush's policies are helping our economy (or hurting it as many think).

Am I the only one confused by this mess? If you're going to direct "i didn't say that" messages at me, could you address me rather than conjur? There's a lot of unnecessary entanglement here.

SammySon, this is a personal attack against you, rather than against your message, since your message is incapable of standing up on its own to anyone with a basic grasp of logic and reason and therefore does not require someone like myself to punch holes in it.

Pull your head out of your arse and get a breath of fresh air, kid. It would do you good.

He's basically moaning and b1tching because Gore lost the 2000 election and Moore thinks all of the world's ills are the fault of President Bush (errr...Moore called him Governor Bush...'nuff said.)

The Pope has said this war is wrong, that it is a SIN. The Pope! But even worse, the Dixie Chicks have now come out against you!
Bwah! Now that's funny. (The Pope mention is the argument, the Dixie Chicks is the jab)
-- and who doesn't like to see a good ass-whoopin' every now and then (especially when it 's some third world ass!).
Dear lord... no kidding.

He makes a few points but I'm not a fan of the overall construction of the letter. "Dear Governor Bush" made me wince and then got a chuckle out of me.

If you don?t have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Seriously, my opinion on this guy has totally changed.

As I wrote in my first post I liked Roger and Me but Moore just crossed the line into the ridiculous.

I am so sick of no-name "celebreties" attacking Bush's IQ. Let's take a look at Bush's IQ and acheivements compared to Moore's:

George W. Bush: Received a Bachelors Degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as an F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard. He began his career in the oil and gas business in Midland in 1975 and worked in the energy industry until 1986. He was elected Governor on November 8, 1994, with 53.5 percent of the vote. In a historic re-election victory, he became the first Texas Governor to be elected to consecutive four-year terms on November 3, 1998 winning 68.6 percent of the vote. In 1998 Governor Bush won 49 percent of the Hispanic vote, 27 percent of the African-American vote, 27 percent of Democrats and 65 percent of women. He won more Texas counties, 240 of 254, than any modern Republican other than Richard Nixon in 1972 and is the first Republican gubernatorial candidate to win the heavily Hispanic and Democratic border counties of El Paso, Cameron and Hidalgo. (Someone began circulating a false story about his I.Q. being lower than any other President. If you believed it, you might want to go to URBANLEGENDS.COM) and see the truth.

Now, let's look at Mr. Moore:

Michael Moore: Dropped out first year University of Michigan. Career: Movie Director for his own independant films.

Find another way to get into the public eye buddy...this one ain't working. Maybe go work with Dick Smothers Jr. or something.

Is this Michael Moore guy living in a shoe box? He needs to leave his apartment and take a whiff...

if MTV.com does a poll and 61% of the respondents favor the war in Iraq, then idiot Moore needs to rethink his letter...

so then in your eyes GWB is smarter than Einstein ???

einstein did not even finish high school so he must be an idiot

einstein did not even finish high school so he must be an idiot
Einstein earned a Ph.D. and went-on after high school to demonstrate his genius in the areas of physics. He also commented on matters of politics and war, and although he had no 'formal expertise' in these areas, Einstein did so with eloquent articulation and great intellectual honesty, unlike Moore whose M.O. epitomizes scandalous intellectual dishonesty.
