They're sitting on the money, they're using it for their own -- they're putting it someplace else with no interest in helping you with your life, with that money. We've allowed them to take that. That's not theirs, that's a national resource, that's ours. We all have this -- we all benefit from this or we all suffer as a result of not having it,

So when can I expect him to donate his entire fortune to the federal government?

to each... from each...

definitely not surprising coming from his types.

More like:

To me.... from you....

They advocate institutionalized robbery based on the principle of violating the basic human right of privacy and private property. In other words, they think they own you.

No one can own things like land, minerals, and other resources. All of these things belong to the people. If these things are used to make money, then that money too belongs to the people.

You certainly arent talking about the US. Or you are delusional.

I am talking about every place in the world. People might claim to own these things, but they don't. They belong to all of the people, and always will.

The home you live in, you live in it because the people say you can live on that land.

Sure thing there buddy.

Oh wait, you are the guy who just started a thread claiming everyone can have "green energy" for $5/month.

This explains a lot.

No, the money belongs to the federal reserve company, not the people. We have it on loan, and have to pay interest on it.

And that is there the national debt comes from.

It's idiots like Moore - actually, even worse, the bigger idiots who believe him - that are the big problem.

I think Michael Moore should start this Red Revolution in the US right away!

He can start by entering random people's homes and trying to take their money.

You still haven't shown me were I was wrong that only a few dollars more a month we can stop using energy sources such as coal and natural gas.

Hopefully he starts in the heart of Texas. They tend to have... less liberal policies with unwanted home invaders.

We grudge no man a fortune in civil life if it is honorably obtained and well used. It is not even enough that it should have been gained without doing damage to the community. We should permit it to be gained only so long as the gaining represents benefit to the community. … The really big fortune, the swollen fortune, by the mere fact of its size, acquires qualities which differentiate it in kind as well as in degree from what is possessed by men of relatively small means. Therefore, I believe in a graduated income tax on big fortunes, and … a graduated inheritance tax on big fortunes, properly safeguarded against evasion, and increasing rapidly in amount with the size of the estate.
- Theodore Roosevelt

No man should receive a dollar unless that dollar has been fairly earned. Every dollar received should represent a dollar's worth of service rendered — not gambling in stocks, but service rendered. The really big fortune, the swollen fortune, by the mere fact of its size acquires qualities which differentiate it in kind as well as in degree from what is possessed by men of relatively small means. Therefore, I believe in a graduated income tax on big fortunes, and in another tax which is far more easily collected and far more effective — a graduated inheritance tax on big fortunes, properly safeguarded against evasion and increasing rapidly in amount with the size of the estate.
- Theodore Roosevelt

Not everyone agrees that 'vast fortunes' affecting the welfare of society are 'off limits' to the society exercising some control for its own benefit for the people.

The criticism of rules that create perverse incentives for the use of large amounts of wealth that harms society is appropriate for a society - a word some seem not to know.

Why are you so selfish, heartless, and without any compassion? You would destroy this planet for your own temporary gains. How sad that you don't see you are ruining the world for your grand children and their grand children.
