I'll pay attention to moore when he's had to surrender his money. Michael, please send me your money. You owe me.

Aren't you a doctor? That makes you a rich bastard who isn't deserving of moores money. He should definitely send it to me before you!

Who cares about Democrats moderates? Those three are people that the Democrat party wanted to be president, so they're obviously what Democrats believe exemplify their party positions.

Pay attention to his post - he stated Democrats and moderates with regard to who supported TARP. We're not talking about anything else other than TARP here. If you look at the role call vote, Elizabeth Dole is not a moderate. Orrin Hatch is not a moderate. Mitch McConnell is not a moderate. Lamar Alexander is not a moderate. That's not to mention all the Democrats who voted nea for TARP.

My point is, it wasn't Democrats and moderates, it was a bipartisan bill which included liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans, and everyone else in between who supported TARP.

I hope he eats his way into a coffin sooner than later.

I feel the same about Chris Christie. Imagine looking at his lard puss every day on tv.
He thinks he can beat Obama. Maybe... in the McDonlald "all you can eat" BigMac feast.
And I thought Nixon was hard on the eyes...

Oh, I see.

Well bud, I don't know about you, but I've done great. I retired at 54 after working since I was 12. Now those first years were paper routes and the like but as soon as I could hold a real job - I did. I moved to jobs with better opportunities and higher pay until I reached as high as I could, which on the grand scheme of things wasn't very high.

I haven't inherited a nickel.

As I moved through life, I spent frugally and saved (and invested) all that I could. I've got a comfortable retirement going and now after a few years of retirement I'm getting a little bored and should have a business up and running this summer.

I thought about laying around and pissing and moaning about what everybody else had, but I decided that wasn't going to get me anywhere. So I rolled up my sleeves and grabbed for everything I could. I was rewarded by the virtue of my attitude and work ethic.

Either make it happen or whine, piss and moan. I think I know which course you've taken.

Here is the reality of the situation; I do not care what you have done with your life. Nor do I care to tell you what I've done with mine.

I am glad you are proud of your accomplishments, and frankly, since it seems you are so eager to tell everyone your own fucking business, you obviously harbor some resentment towards those who are getting a 'free ride'. Get off of you high horse, jerk.

I am calling out the rich elitist jackasses who have been dodging taxes for a very long time. AND, have made the promise to create jobs at the exepense of paying less of their share.

Now, if you REALLY want to take care of these free loaders, STOP projecting your self importance to people like me and go swipe a welfare check out of the hands of an unwed unemployed mother.

By the way, just so we are clear (because you don't understand what I am talking about); the rich are to CREATE JOBS. Not give money away for nothing. They promised, that since they are getting taxed less, they will generate jobs and growth. Meaning, people will show up for work (40 hours a week), do something and then get paid for it. Again, I have in no way implied the rich need to give their money away. And, it supports the general idea of this thread, where people earn their money. The job creators have not established that environment.

That chip on your shoulder is holding you back as you go through life although I'm pretty certain the rage it festers fills a need.

But, on a more positive note, I'm sure the 'rich elitist jackasses' are trembling in their handmade leather boots now that you've put them on notice.

How's the weather in Berkeley this morning comrade? Are the buses on the way back from Wisconsin?

Who are you talking to?

And speaking of chips on shoulders; was your daddy a pot smoking hippie? Or, did your mommy give more attention to your loser brother?

You don't get ANY of it; since you are so bent on shooting down something that supports the very thing you are so proud of; work.

By the way, you uneducated peon, I am not a 'comrade' when I expect the job creators to create jobs. A commie is someone who expects the government to take the wealth and pass it along to the poor; no questions asked.

I have clearly stated the wealth should be worked for, not given away. Instead, the work is shipped over seas and they still get their tax break. Keep the tax break and create the jobs here in America.

Instead, you just go on and on about how tomatoes taste so much better when you grow them in their proper season.

Wait, now I get it; you suspect your wife is being railed by a socialist muslim union lawyer - ouch.

You see concentrated wealth as the problem, I see over-reaching government creating that concentrated wealth as the problem. No matter what the organization, those with the right connections will always receive a disproportionate piece. With a smaller more manageable government, that piece wouldn't be so disgustingly large. When a budget is trillions of dollars, it's easy to hide billions. The federal government is simply too large.

No. Rich get richer always. We saw this with virtually no govt in robber barren era. Say you toiled and managed to get $100,000 together to open a NY ferry. Rockefeller just gives half price rides until you are bankrupted. The difference is wealthy can wait anything out you can't. There are a lot more reasons than that such as education for progeny, rich hanging out with rich, control of politicians who want money and so forth but the main one is ability to wait it out. e.g. buy low sell high, always.

Show me one form of government in the history of man wealth didn't accumulate to the tippy top. Remember why improvised Europeans came here? They just stole means of production from rich Indians instead of their own but it amounts to the same thing, redistribution. Redistribution or revolution always results in every govt because wealth gets accumulated.

Now I'm no communist or anything. The legislation that provided amazing prosperity almost to the bottom of society and solvency from about 1950 - 1975 is about where I sit. e.g. unionized workforce, progressive taxation, workfare not welfare, SBA loans, etc.

The rich are more than happy to grow the govt and pay people to sit at home. They get money on front end from off-shoring and in-shoring and on back end since they own all the treasuries we must pay them every paycheck. One day 100% of what we pay will go to the tippy top with zero services in return. Good racket.

The wonderful world of a Plutocracy pretending to be a Democracy.

Funny how supporters of our current "government" go totally nuts when you criticize the USA. Don't they see that the rich are taking advantage of the freedom they are so proud of??

Democracy is a terrible form of govt because people can choose the path of least resistance. Hence our problems.

So what is a better form of government? Please give us a country that is currently using your ideal version as an example.

Why are you so selfish, heartless, and without any compassion? You would destroy this planet for your own temporary gains. How sad that you don't see you are ruining the world for your grand children and their grand children.

Okay, I am convinced you are a troll. Thank you.

How do the rich get their money. They get it through cheating other people out of money. Most the people who are being cheated are the poor and lower class.

Yes, because the poor and lower class have stashes of money to be cheated out of. How stupid are you really?
