That's a complete straw man argument. If you're getting divorced, obviously you shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. The point is that you don't go into a marriage assuming it's going to fall apart and get ugly.

Look, the issue here isn't greedy, whore women. It's really not. The system is set up so that the man gets screwed in at least 8 different ways if the woman chooses to get nasty about it. There's an inherent flaw in the system and it needs to be fixed. If the system was set up so that men almost always came out ahead, human nature is probably that they would take advantage of it as well.

The legal system is supposed to be set up to save people from themselves. Saying that the resolution to the problem is simply "don't get married" is incredibly short sighted and conveniently ignores the fact that there's a problem to begin with.
so naive.

Funny, that many of the posters in this thread have a problem with how much Mrs. Jordan got paid for her "work" but none have a problem with Mr. Jordans pay for his "work".

Greatest Basketball Player of All Time. He's worth every penny.

When Jordan left for the second time, all of the thugs started coming into the league. He was the glue that held it all together.
