Michael Bay ruins Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I just have to ask this question. is this movie for today's children? Or is it for today's adults that were kids when the Turtles were a cartoon? Last I checked and I'm not the best source for this but do children even know the turtles? Are their turtles cartoons that still play on TV?

I saw how the tutles looked like, when the toy fare was in town a few months ago,... and, I have abandoned all hope.

People will still go see it, because people love the Michael Bays.

1. Wait, is that Megan Fox? The one he kicked off Transformers?

2. I hope this was a parody trailer. Those turtle faces are uglier than Predator without his mask on 😀

Yeah, I think they anime'd it for today's generation.

TMNT were ruined the moment the first live action movie was released. This can only make things better.

Really? I actually liked the live versions. I thought the suits were pretty decent. Plus...go ninja go ninja go go go

Ruined how? Michael Bay actually seems like a good fit for material that needs decent special effects and has generally always been light hearted (discounting some of the original Eastman and Laird comics).

To each his own, I guess. I thought they were utter garbage. To be honest, I was already ambivalent once the franchise diverged from being a fairly clever parody of peer comics to actually believing it was a legitimately good story. I still stuck with it because the jedi mind trick worked, I guess. But the live action thing was just asking too much with its incredible suckbagitude.

Its called the nerd effect. A duty of a good nerd is to complain about every sci-fi movie ever comes out, specially if its a squeal or based on a older story. The person they are complaining about does not matter, it could be anyone, the complaint level will stay the same.

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen the live action films. Watched the cartoon religiously though.

tmnt1 is a flat out classic. i watched it not to long ago in my HT (as i bought the bluray trilogy) and that movie is still a great movie that i can enjoy now in my 30's just as much as i did when i was 8 or 9 when it came out.

the trailer for the new one looks pretty solid, i'm not sure wtf the OP is expecting. not surprised at all though that someone on this forum full of people that hate everything doesn't think it looks entertaining.

Oh boy! Lens Flare! Diagonal Camera Angles! Continuous Cameraman Seizures! Freaking Michael Bay. Guy is a menace.
