I own and love an Intellimouse 3.0. Of course, this is my second one in three years, which is pretty crappy.

Basically, the only thing that prevents me from really considering a Logitech mouse is that they don't seem to sell their high-end mice WITH cords, which is a must for me. I can't stand any sort of lag and I don't want to replace batteries.

You know, you should invent a mouse that sits on a charger, so you never replace the batteries. I bet you'd make a million dollars. Like that guy who invented the pet rock.

someone already did that.. forgot the link
he modded a mousepad to automatically charge his wireless mouse
I think the guy was hinting about just buying a mouse that was already designed with a charger...

MS eats the battery. logitech will give you far more use according to the review i did.

i have three mx duo's and they are great! not a problem. i've also have four mouseman cordless optical and they still work great too.

The latest Intellimouse Explorer battery life is much better than v1 - my mouse lasted for around 3 months this time between battery changes rather than 4-5 weeks between changes with my older Intellimouse.

Their new lower power wireless transmitter is a pretty good improvement...

MS ones are uncomfortable and not as durable. I've een through three Intellimice, and I'm now sng a $12 Logitech and it has held up fine, where the MS ones couldn't put up ith me.

Buying a mouse is completely buyer preference...there is no saying one is more or less comfortable than others....it may be true for you, but not for everyone. I disliked the feeling of the MX in my hand, so I have MS.

...and I use the Optical Corded mouse. Veyr similar to the Intellimouse Optical in feel and weight--except I've used it for near 6 months and it still has feet to glide on.

Hey guys, I ended up buying the MX 510 from BestBuy. I have a slight 'problem.' I use a cloth/felt (?) mousepad and the mouse is kinda squeaky on it. It squeaks when I move it. Did this happen to anybody else?

I used to have one of those really expensive mircosoft mice, it was aroud 80$ canadian. It broke after a few months. I switched over to a 20$ logitech mouse, and ive had absolutely no problems what so ever. Logitech pwns microsoft.

Had my Intellimouse 3.0 for about 18 months. Still in perfect condition. As I said, it has to be personal preference, you can't just say "get an MS mouse" or "get an MX". You CAN say, "MS and Logitech are two of the best...try each one and see which one feels best in your hand."

love my mx duo but if you like corded that 510 looks schweet.
If you were going cordless and range was an issue those bluetooth sets look pretty cool but are ridiculously expensive.
