Mexican Poncho - Needs Cleaning

When I was in Cozumel Mexico, I bought an authentic poncho, which I have worn to a number of Halloween parties. It's been in a bag for several months, as I'm not sure how to clean it. Anyone know if they are washable, or should be dry cleaned? 😕
 
Just hand wash with a mild soap detergeant in luke warm water should be fine... Something like a bit of soap powder.
 
put it into a sink of warm water with some dish soap

mush it around for five minutes, then rinse

hang dry
