Mexican Poncho - Needs Cleaning

When I was in Cozumel Mexico, I bought an authentic poncho, which I have worn to a number of Halloween parties. It's been in a bag for several months, as I'm not sure how to clean it. Anyone know if they are washable, or should be dry cleaned?

Just dump some salsa on it

rub some tequila on it.

Just hand wash with a mild soap detergeant in luke warm water should be fine... Something like a bit of soap powder.

put it into a sink of warm water with some dish soap

mush it around for five minutes, then rinse

hang dry

tabasco/tequilla mixture ....... use margarita salt as an abrasive.
