Wouldn't surprise me. OKC has turned into one of the dirtiest teams in the league this year. I pretty much stopped watching their games about a month ago because of it, with the exception of big matchups.
 
I think it was an accident. I watched the vid. He looks like he just got excited. I don't really follow basketball that much now, but I still remember seeing Michael Jordan leaping into the air and throwing that celebration punch, which is kinda similar. If Jordan weren't Jordan, he might have hit someone by accident with that thing.

He clearly intended to elbow someone. I do not think he thought he would get in such a good shot.

In the law, if you shoot into an occupied car without the specific intent to actually hit someone, but you end up hitting and killing someone, you could be guilty of murder.

7 games, not enough. Here's hoping the Nuggs (or whomever the lakers play) knock them out in 6 games so he doesn't play again this season

i don't think artest is the type of player who would be upset at the prospect of not being able to play for the rest of the season.

True, but I want him back so when the Lakers get blown out in the playoffs like they did last year. I won't have to hear their lame fans whine about why they lost. The Lakers lose in the playoffs with or without him. But with him I can rub their faces in it more, which is always a good thing.
 
Okay really, what a bunch of pussies we have here. I'd suggest watching some classic games from the 70s and 80s to actually learn a thing or two about the history of the sport, but many of you might be in tears half way through demanding life sentences for players.

Artest should of never been allowed back after the brawl. You forfeit your right to make 10mil a year playing a game after you attack the fans. Then you do your Tarzan impression and decide to throw a bow because someone chest bumps you. Stuff like this is why the average Joe wants nothing to do with the nba.

People always want to point out the old days - hell, I typically talk about it. But this was NOT A FOUL WHILE PLAYING. This wasn't a hard foul while someone is driving in the lane, this was MWP assaulting Harden.

back in the 70s and 80s we did not have drugs powerful enough to let a retard walk amongst normal human beings. back in the 70s and 80s he would be in some mental asylum by now getting electric shock treatment. you go read history
