I have mixed feelings about it. Way to much useless dialogue and interminable cutscenes, as stated earlier. Would vastly improve the game if you could simply skip them, like in W3. In order to get a good ending you also have to be very stealth oriented. That got tedious for me, but some people love it.This title is on steam sale now. Some reviewers report bugs. Any issues? Fun to play?
Never said you had to do stealth at all times, and yes, mutants are fair game all the time. But you definitely have to be very careful who you kill. BTW, I have played through the game twice and gotten both endings, so I do have some knowledge of what you have to do to get the good ending.I liked the game a lot, graphics are amazing, very fun game and good story. I killed a lot of bad guys, mostly mutants, and still got a good ending so it's not true that you need to do stealth at all times.
It is on sale now from GOG.com only $22 for gold edition which includes 2 expansions

I haven't played it yet due to outdated hardware and ridiculously high GPU prices. I thought 2033 was outstanding and Last Light was an improvement in many aspects. What's wrong with Exodus?Game looks great however sadly outside of that its just a below than average game.
I thought it was OK, not as good as the earlier metro games. Was overloaded with a lot of cutscenes. I also got tired of the "dont kill the wrong guy, or you will get the bad ending" mechanic. To me though, without the atmosphere of the tunnels, it just became another shooter.I haven't played it yet due to outdated hardware and ridiculously high GPU prices.
