OP - have you seen metallica in concert? They put on a badass show...saw them in HS and then again last september. However, I don't like St. Anger at all...but a big fan of their old stuff.

Are you kidding me? How many do you know? I know a lot who don't like metal, but the majority of them I know do.

Lots and lots? I might know only 1 or 2 people that actually like metal, and they are fat geeks with pony tails lol. But I know many, many potheads (and bunches of druggies in general). This was my crowd. And NO ONE listened to metal. I have never once got in a car with someone and they started playing Metallica or the like lol. Ever.

I know potheads who listen to metal and Floyd/Foo Fighters and all that kind of stuff as well

Metallica friggin does suck. They are so friggin overrated. There only fairly good song was Enter-Sandman. Such an overrated guitarist too.
