They are still trying to ride the hair band wave, and succeeding with high school potheads! Also, the only good songs of theirs are the covers and folk songs. That is all.
 
I think they suck because of their conduct during the whole Napster debacle. They proved beyond any doubt that they are ALL about the money. Plus, the thing they did with Ja Rule just.. wtf was that all about?

Good Metallica died with CLiff BUrton unfortunately.

He was the true genius of their early music.

They've never been a "hair" band. Back in the eighties they had long hair, but weren't a hair band like Poison or Motley Crue.

If you actually knew anything about them and the Napster situation, you would know that it wasn't about money. It was about control.

They felt they weren't in control of their music anymore. They didn't like the model that Napster was.

Metallica friggin does suck. They are so friggin overrated. There only fairly good song was Enter-Sandman. Such an overrated guitarist too.
