I had kind of hit a plateau for weight loss so i decided to see a nutritionist. I should have done this in the first place but I thought I could eat healthier.
I first met her to go over my current diet and then she spent the rest of the time telling my why it wasn't helping me. It was mostly my portion sizes that were jacked up and there were things I was neglecting. We talked about my goals and training pattern then she would figure out what is best for my diet wise.
We met three days later and she came up with a diet for me and also went through what the best foods were for me to get what I need and the best ways to assemble a proper meal including brand names of foods which helps me a ton.
I want to get into the 175-180 range with a descent build. I'm at 193 right now and started at 218. I've picked up a descent amount of muscle too.
She told me I need about 2300 calories a day to do what I want. I should get 50% from carbs, 25% from protein, and 25% from fat.
Tomorrow I get to go shopping for all this stuff.
BTW I'm 33 and 6' tall.
