I'm not the neatest eater, but on a scale of 1 (people that don't wash their hands after the bathroom) to 10 (legit OCD) I'm probably a 7. I always take care to eat with my mouth closed and cover it if I need to say something with food in my mouth (usually only around family; with non-family I'll swallow first). That said, I eat a lot of bread and don't mind getting some crumbs around, although I clean up fairly consistently. Starting when I was about 4 years old, other people's eating habits would disgust me so much that I erected a cereal box wall all around my corner of the table so that I wouldn't have to watch other people eat. I also used to beat my brothers for making humming noises while eating. Come to think of it, I also wouldn't eat oatmeal my mom had made if there was any on the edges of the bowl, there had to be symmetry to certain things (like raisins on banana slices), I wouldn't eat out of white bowls because imperfections were more visible, and other autistic crap too. So I probably started at about a 9.5. Around when I hit puberty I kind of calmed down with that.

Sorry to hear you're autistic, bro.

I used to be smart too, now it's all gone.

Could you foresee your own downfall? I remember being so proud of reading at a 9th grade level in 2nd grade and a 12th grade level in 3rd grade. Once I was at "college level" I realized there was no room for improvement, and that with every passing year I grew relatively less amazing compared to my peers. I brought this up to my mom and she just told me to study harder. That's when I gave up.

I was pretty much the exact same way. Used to be way smarter than everyone else my age, but it quikly slowed and they started to pass me. I gave up because I just didn't care anymore.

^ Ahahaha, same here. Hell, there are posts on this very forum from back in the days when I was actually smart - most of them in the hardware forum, though, so meh, what you can tell from that.

Not a messy eater but if I am watching TV while I munch I usually get something on my shirt.
