Shingles on my tailbone.
Unmedicated childbirth (twice).
Fell and tore the hell out of my shoulder (my doctor's exact words when he saw that the x-ray showed no broken bones.)
Cut the end of my left index finger off with a mat knife.
Two really painful burns (one was when my friend's mom accidently poured boiling caramel on my hand when I was 9, the other was a couple years ago when I reached into a fire to save some stuff that was mistakenly thrown in and the flames and melting plastic burned my wrist and hand).

Mine don't compare to some of you guys' stories.

I had a blister on my ear drum pop and thereby rupture my ear drum.

I remember what had felt like an ear ache suddenly get worse and worse until I threw myself on my bed and was futily holding my ear about to scream when I felt a pop and the pain was gone, but now ear fluid was steadily leaking out of my ear and continued to for a few days until I mentioned it to my mom. During the meantime I used to stick rolled up toilet paper in my ear. Turns out all it took was some pills to repair.

But, really, the worse pain is watching those I love in pain. Even my daughters going in for shots traumatizes me more than the burst ear drum.

I was hit by a car while on a bicycle, broke my femur in two and twisted my knee to the side. I passed out, woke up in surgery while they were drilling through my leg to put it into traction. No painkillers because I was passed out, so I felt the whole thing from the drillbit going into one side of my calf, to going through the bone in the middle, to out the other side. Then doing it again on my other bone in my calf. I was awake for about 5 minutes, just lied there, didn't say anything, ended up passing out from the pain.

I'll never forget the smell of burning flesh, as the smoke came out from drilling through bone.

I was going to post mine, but just reading this has been my most painful experience...

When I was a kid I was flung from a gocart and landed right on my arm, breaking it. However I did not know it was broken until after two weeks of just being careful with it, we went to the doctor. They said it had completely snapped but was halfway done healing, so I only had a soft cast for the rest of the time. I've always had a really high tolerance for pain.

Not the most painful but I really can't remember.. since even in my worst injuries the pain doesn't affect me that much. Its more the nuisance of healing.

Don't know if it was the worst, but I once had some molten plastic splattered onto one of my fingers, and it basically burned the skin away down to the bone where it landed.

I had appendicitis a month ago. Super painful but the morphine made everything fine. I finally didn't get to the actual ER for about 10 hours after it started hurting.

I was circumcised when I was 10 or so. I remember the whole fvcking account in my head.

You see, most of you fvckers are born circumcised on the spot, so there are no memories. Mine is totally different. I remember the weird devices the doc strapped onto my penis, syringes going in numerous times to sedate me, etc.

The most painful part wasn't the surgery itself, but it was the scarring of the newly exposed head. It was FVCKING painful whenever I pissed and I couldn't sleep for days because WHATEVER touched my penis would wake me up in screaming pain - anything from your own underwear, blanket, etc. Wearing the cup didn't help either because the penis still had to lie somewhere and touch the inside of the cup. That proved WORSE than touching my own underwear...

About 7 yrs old, running around the house full speed, tripped and hitting my head against glass table and got a big open gash. My brother was pointing to my head saying "It's cracked open" while I felt the pain start to register and blood dripping out - 15 stitches. Longest ride to the hospital - I don't remember if they gave me anesthetic because I remember feeling the stitching and all.
In college playing racketball and as I flew to the wall, put up my hand to brace but the racket came in vertical between my head and the wall before I got my hand in. Good - my head didn't impact the wall, bad - the racket edge blocked the impact with my weight on it. Another big bloody gash - 10 stitches. Deja vu.
