So how does that make sprint harder? It's easier if anything.
The media doesn't care what is the hardest. To me, anything that lasts about 50-60 seconds is the hardest of all - regardless of the sport. A 50-60 second 400 m race (add hurdles if you are good) or a 50-60 second swimming race, or a 50-60 second rowing race, etc. Those are the damn hard events.
