Professional sports are suffering because the professional athletes are a bunch of overpaid primadonnas. They think far too much of themselves and, unfortunately, so do some of their fans.

Let's not forget about the loaded bats and illegal use of steroids to enhance athletic ability. Sports used to be fun with down home people who enjoyed playing the game and not playing for their next advertising contract.

Professional sports is bunk nowadays. You are obviously young and can't remember when it was a joy to follow a team.

Professional athletes will never get a nickel of my money if I can help it.

I used to be all about basketball when Michael Jordan was playing, but I don't think it's nearly as entertaining within the last few years. Far too many ball hogs and people obsessed with money instead of playing the game.

I still love watching football. I love watching it, I love playing it, it's just F-U-N.

Yeah I feel like a loser since these guys just play some recreational games and get paid more in a year than I will make in my whole life, but darn it I just can't stop watching!
