Dunno about other countries, but in the UK women get significantly cheaper car insurance from the first day they start driving.

Sexual discrimination anyone?

No its called fact. Women have less accidents then men, even here in the US.

Insurance rates are based on the persons age, sex, car type, etc... things that can be shown to make a diff. in claims.

A woman never has to buy a drink in a bar. Many woman make a habit of it and call guys "sponsers."

Here is a tip: Never use buying a drink as an opener. And never buy a woman a drink just to keep her there. Woman never respect sponsers and simply use them.

Girl gropes guy: nothing ever happens.
Guy gropes girl: sexual harrasment+assault.

BF and GF get in fight, cops show up, regardless of who is at fault, the guy gets arrested.

Wife slaps husband: he deserved it.
Husband slaps wife: spousal abuse.

In ever single chick flick:
Girl cheats on guy, it's romance.
Guy cheats on girl, it's adultry and he deserves to have his life ruined.

While I understand the psychological reasons behind a mother being with her child after birth, why do most companies not grant men some "maternity" leave?

I know SOME do... for instance, the Cincinnati division of police gave my uncle about 12 weeks of leave... which was actually more than my aunt got!

Clothing.

Girls dress like guys, they're tomboys.
Guys dress like girls, they're gay/perverse/freaks/etc.

Tickets. A girl starts crying and gets out of it often. A guy starts crying at a traffic stop and is told to grow a pair.

Someone posted this on another forum yesterday:
What do you call a woman who decides she isn't ready to be a mother?
Pro-choice.
What do you call a man who decides he isn't ready to be a father?
A deadbeat.

I think women are favored in sexual harrassment situations at work. If it's her word against yours, you're screwed.

pisses me off that, and if you have a women driver down on your insurance for that car (ie male owner/driver with woman on the insurance for same car) you get cheaper insurance

women are not the best drivers, its a fact i do alot of driving here in england and almost every act of ineptitude or carelessness on the road is usually caused by a woman.

i dunno what stats they use to prove women = safer/better drivers, but if you actually go out on the roads you'll see its completely the opposite

I'm aware of that, and it makes sense. I'm curious though...can they charge a black guy more then a white guy just because he's black or vice-versa? I'm willing to bet that isn't copacetic...so why should this be?

I was told by an ins. agent that stastically, women have more accidents, but it mostly consists of dents, dings and fender benders. But men have more high dollar accidents and have a bigger tendency to drive at the will of being macho.

Absolutely correct, I'm not trying to debate that. It is certainly a fact that women have less accidents than men whilst driving.

However, picture this:
2 people, both 20 years old, both have no driving experience at all.
They both drive exactly the same car, same year, model etc.
The only difference between them, one's a man and one's a women.

The women will have the lower premium's based on nothing but gender. Therefore, sexual discrimination.

OMG... that is so true.

Also... as someone else said, alimony and child custody. A lot of guys get doubly screwed over here.
