On the surface one of my first thoughts about Melania is that she is a victim, and knowingly got in bed with him at least once.

But then the reality that she knew damn well what she was doing, and secured her privilege to remain in the US. Doesn't mean she hasn't been/is still being mentally abused by Trump. Baron, their son is a victim, and will likely have many of the mental issues that his daddy suffers.

The image she tried to glean off of Trump years ago before he stepped on that presidential landmine he was dancing around is gone gone gone. He's definitely not the image of a man she wants to be seen holding hands with.

Donald literally destroyed the glitz and glamour Melania yearned for and still does. Can't say she can retrieve those yesteryears of high rolling and snotty sneering at the peasantry now that her best years (physically) have been spent being used as arm candy by Donny, but I think she'll give it a try even if she has to keep Donald nearby for appearances sake.

I'm sure she much preferred living in a gold 50th floor condo looking down on the inferior people of the world, and the last 4 years of having to pretend to be nice and care about people must have been torture for her.

She is a worthless piece of shit, I have no sympathy for her whatsoever.

She chose to push birtherism, nobody made her. Whether she did it because she's a racist herself or because she thought being racist was the price she had to pay for wealth is irrelevant. She's just a terrible human being.

I imagine it depends entirely on the terms of whatever marriage agreement she negotiated with Trump after he won in 2016. She's pretty clearly repulsed by him (who wouldn't be) but it's also clear that she cares more about money than she does about having a husband she likes, having personal dignity, etc.

If she usually lives in NYC and he usually lives in FL, why divorce for pennies on the dollar when you'll likely get much more once the fascist piece of shit dies, hopefully in prison at the ripe old age of 110?

To the best of my knowledge she is the only first lady in history to never head up any special programs and has spent the least amount of time in the White House, since the White House was built.

Couldn't decide whether Madonna's "Material Girl" or Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" lyrics were more appropriate so it looks like Melania's predicament seems to involve both story lines.
