turtles are seriously so awesome.

Haha, I love Mr. Pushy's head! How old is he? Does he ever come out? Turtie doesn't have webbed feet so she's semi aquatic. Her front feet look like green scaley turtle paws.

damn hope she was ok with you bringing a dog home. I was thinking you were on your own not being able to afford a second animal.

She's fine with it because she was the one that asked me to bring him home. She pitched some in financially to pay for him now just because it was initially supposed to be her dog and I ended up taking the burden somehow. I also have 4 guinea pigs (live with James) that live an extravagant lifestyle, the turtle and fishies at home to take care of as well as my own bills. It's a freakin' petting zoo. I think I'm done for a long time.

he's around a year and a half. i let him sit on the bed but he usually loves staying in water. i used to have 3 red ear sliders but i let them go after keeping them about a year. when i first got push push i put him in a cage with 3 red ear sliders, two babies and one his size. the next morning he ate both the babies and half of the one his size so it's been just him and the goldfish since then. i guess he's very territorial but i've seen african sideneck turtles and sliders live together at pet stores before so ya got me there.

Yikes, poor baby turtles!! Turtie is shy. I put her in my aquarium once with my goldfish. She stared for a few seconds, then flipped out and attempted to swim to the top. Her little paw feet were going a mile a minute! Unfortunately, she can't swim that well so I had to rescue her. She's also afraid of lightning and runs into corners and behind plants, burying herself wherever whenever she hears it. She's not afraid of our guinea pigs, and they don't seem to mind her too much, but the new puppy is afraid of Turtie. She whimpered and backed away from her everytime.
