Ruckus was about sixteen years old, maybe older. He was top cat and a very "there" cat, always into whatever we were doing. He also liked to bite, not out fear or anger, but for the pure pleasure of feeling flesh between his teeth.
He's had kidney disease for about a year and started crashing last night. We put him down this morning before the pain could get to him.

RIP Ruckus.

I had to euthanize my sweet Jiji last Wednesday. Around 2 years ago she got diabetes and I have been giving her insulin twice a day since. One hospitalization for a week and a few vet visits for various issues. But last Saturday she stopped eating and I knew it was time. She was the sweetest cat in the world and will be missed forever. This is Jiji, going on 10 years now. I adopted her from my boss, as he just got a dog and couldn't deal with cats anymore. She's very independent but she loves me and I her.
