Julia is a wonderful dog. If anyone in SoCal wants a 45 pound sheperd mix she will be available in about a month from the LA County shelter. She is very friendly and the type of dog when anyone leaves the room she goes along with them, just to see what is up.

She is not that great of a mom. The puppies are a little over 2 weeks old and she is pretty much already done with them. We have done this many times and we know the signs.

The pups are big, but they are young. Their eyes have just opened and they can walk, but not that well. They are soon to be at the stage where they start to walk, but get stuck because they can't back up, so they just sit there and yip.

"Not good Mom" is on loan from LA County Animal Shelter. She will go back to them and the fix all animals before they let them go. As a matter of fact we go Tina from them and she is fixed.

We used to foster a LOT. One time we had two sisters that had their pups one day apart. The larger dog (12 pounds) would walk all around the house having a good time, the smaller dog (9 pounds) ended up feeding both litters.

BTW, we are calling not good mom, Julia. Because we are watching the show Murdoch Mysteries and that is one of the main characters.

They have gotten bigger!!! It has been a little over a week and they have grown and developed like crazy. Mom is still here for now. Does not really feed them but does kind of take care of them.

They eat softened dry food, and they eat a lot!!! They are starting to whine a lot, well at least Tom is. His name is Tom because he is the Trouble Maker. Was going to call him TM, but added an O in there to make it Tom.
