That is so very cool of you!!!!I forgot about Spot(in pic) and Blackie(not shown). They aren't exactly /my/ cats, but they spend a lot of time here, especially Spot. They were both catch/releases. Blackie's completely feral, but Spot's friendly, and particularly likes me. If she knows I'm outside, she comes over meowing the whole way. I feed them in the morning and provide water. I also have a shelter setup for winter. I just fed my kittiots, and she was sitting out back making me feel guilty. Policy is morning feed only. I want to keep her motivation for hunting up. She's a very good hunter, but sometimes gets stuff I don't want her to get.

Love everything you wrote. This is an old good picture of the pack, when Kate could still see.
From front to back, Kate the chihuahua crossed with the devil
Cricket the runt of a silken wind hound, roomie's dog.
Russer is a jack. Jacks are gonna jack.
Cricket was so timid she about crapped herself when our two played.
Katie recognized the situation and slowly taught her how to growl and play properly. It took a while.
Now they are all gray and old, and Russer walks like an AT-AT in fast motion half the time. He just stumps around.
A more recent picture of faded
dogs helping my brother nap. They might be friends.
5 weeks ago somebody dumped this little guy out on the road and he spent all night barking outside our window, desperate to join our pack. He ran away from us but I kibbled him in and we got him into shape. Fleas, UTI, still had his nuts. We took care of all that

he is food aggressive and also growls at our other dogs trying to get near us, but we are teaching him pack manners.
If the other dog is up already he is good.

There is that.Smart fellow. Would you let YOU live in your basement?
Doubt he'll trust me with a 12ga in my dotage.Depends on how good he is at hunting rats.
Wow, looks like you've been practicing for the casting couch.Highland is a loan shark…he’s the biggest rat in town.
This is Katie's intensity when Cricket met her. She sat between her people and anal glanded on our loveseat!Love everything you wrote.
The new dog is going to love the hell out of you. That first picture is awesome, tail is in motion. And yes, there is nothing better that taking a nap with a dog blanket on.
I am a firm believer in the fact, if you have one pet, you have two. They entertain each other.Melvin (ginger) and Magnus (black). Got them from the shelter in July. They're pretty much at home now. It's pretty entertaining having two, they keep each other company and play together too.
That's more personality and skills than the typical human!he is an amazing hunter. Walking him on a leash, he's interested in something along the side of the road, in a wooded area, strikes like a snake, and come up with a chipmunk. Kills and eats it before I can barely react to what he is doing. Other furry prey has had the same fate, all while he's walking on a leash. Voles and bunny's and who knows what.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dog. That's more personality and skills than the typical human!
