>>>(btw, Justincase, i'm curious, if this is your position on the treatment of cows, that they are being 'murdered', are you 'pro life' (referring here to humans/abortion of course)?<<<
I have never been asked about the abortion issue, and have never gotten into that debate, but I'm happy to answer: I am pro-life AND pro-choice...it is up to the individual carrying a child whether or not to carry to term, but I would hope that they would make the decision not to abort, except under exceptional circumstances such as rape.
>>>please don't take this the wrong way, i'm not accusing you of anything or singling you out just for the sake of doing so. it's simply that you are the only one in this thread that has voiced the opinion that essentially cows are being 'murdered', so i am simply curious to hear from a person with such a viewpoint.<<<
The taking of any life, whether human or not, is murder (is 'slaughter' a better word?); a cow has as much right to enjoy life as you or me...if we discovered that there was a farm in the U.S. where millions of cats and dogs were being raised to be slaughtered for food, and we saw this on the evening news, we would be shocked and appalled.
>>>Of course, you are free not to answer, and I am sorry if I've offended you in any way by asking this.)<<<
You haven't offended me at all...but I'm sure someone will attack me on a personal level before we get through with this - always happens, each time I express my strong views on such a subject :Q
