Works fine with my AM2 X2. You need an SSE2 enabled CPU.

BTW - I beat you to posting this last week. 😛

The game is decent, and will be amazing once the Rome: Total Realism team (Soon to be Medevil: Total Realism) starts work on it 🙂

I played the England vs French battle and everything seemed to be cluttered (visually). Hopefully because the graphics engine was butchered for file size. I wasn't sure what my long bowmen where firing at as you can't really see them fly in the air without zooming and focusing on them.

Other than that there's not much to say yet as the real meaty part of the game is the campaign map.

I hear about this mod too. What exactly does it change?

Yes...it changes historic inaccuracies...and added some new stuff too.

Yeah it could be that they compressed it to fit into a file...but try playing with the options.

I'm on that team. 😀
No joke, I'm working on Scotland and Byzantium.

Player / fan of the series since Shogun Total War. I liked what I saw and can't wait for the game to come out. I think it's relasing in November?

Sweet. R:TR makes the game so much better. I can't stand to play unmodded Rome: Total War anymore.

You guys need to hurry up and finish R:TR 7.0... it's almost been in development for a year now!

Does the new demo only add new battles? I'm eager for a taste of the campaign map, where the real action is.

I'm afraid sooo...I doubt they'll release a campaign one.

Cool a 2nd demo! Thanks for sharing 🙂

The first one rocked, I can't wait to get owned by the French again 😀

BTW, does this demo show off any of the other features of the game beside just combat?

Might not be worth downloading and installing because its bascially the first one with ONE added combat mission(Spanish vs.Aztecs).
