Bought it at Best Buy last night ($10 Gift Card promotion). Played the two tutorials, no crashes, bugs, lagging, with graphics set on high. So far it's been smooth.

It seems like retinues are not as easily transferable as Rome. Can't dump them to a black sheep and kill him :(

Yeap. Been smooth sailing for me too. Sad though we can't mod it until the patch in 2 or so weeks. I'm still getting the hang of the game. Lots of stuff to figure out. I'm not all too impressed with the graphics, though a lot better than Rome TW. It's hard to zoom up in the battle as the battle itself could be very large accross the fields.

Thanks for the input on the AI guys, keep us posted. I'm holding off until I hear the AI is okay I'm afraid, Rome TW is quite a bit to live up to.

All around AI isn't that bad, but it does fail sometimes during a battle. I am a Rome veteran, and I am playing on medium with ease. I should play on hard or very hard, but I am trying to get used to the game.

The AI is an improvement over Rome though.

Yeah at least your enemies dont attack you on the next turn after a previous alliance or ceasefire.

Really? Damn English scum backstabbed my French empire even though he had an alliance!

So I took a city and assassinated their family members :D

Ahh, finally works on Steam. Why are there so few troops in each unit? Largest unit I've seen so far is only 75, Militia Spearmen. Do these increase as you upgrade cities along the military aspects, upgrading castles and such?

those numbers are part of game settings, you can change those by pressing esc during the game, and then "game settings" for unit size.

This is a great game, however unstable! After an hour I always get a CTD or BSOD during battle or battle loading! Very frustrating, hope they fix it w/ the patch.

Really? I must have logged more than 20 hours and I haven't had a single crash, BSOD.
