No, that's Capcom's Steel Battalion (or some $hit like that). Not like it matters - it'll only sell one or two copies anyway

Radeon - from a scale of 1-10, 1 being a really crap game, 10 being Halo, how would you rate MechAssault?
 
IGN gave it a 9.2 out of 10......😀 They said it totally rocks...!!I guess I will be going down to the store......🙂

I'm pretty tough on games... Halo was like a 9.2 to me... MechAssault come in right under it with like a 9.199999

I can already see some things in the game that could have been improved, but its just too much damn fun to run around and blow up every building you see 😀

Halo, IMHO, was worth purchasing an Xbox for. After I finished Halo I had no reason to keep the Xbox any longer since no other games came out of that caliber.

Would MechAssault give me another reason to buy an Xbox? I am getting a little hungry to blow up some aliens and ride around in the Warthog.
 
I have been waiting for this for a few months, hopefully the Gamestop near me will have it and the Live kits tomorrow. If not, looks like I will have to wait another day.

Couldn't wait.

No bodily harm either.
Mrs. Tallgeese was perfectly cool with it.
In fact...she may even buy me Splinter Cell for Christmas.
Now if I can only convince her to give it to me early... 😉

Yea, how is single player? Don't have/won't be getting XBox Live for a while, so need to know if it was worth the money just for single player (or MP without Live)
 
Single player is very, very good.

It's more of a 3rd person shooter/action game than a sim (like MechWarrior)... Which is a VERY good thing, imho.

It's basically all the goodness of the MechWarrior series, without the tedium.
