if people hate it its prob running Blues or Browns, they are so much more annoying vs linear switches. Blacks/reds really are not THAT loud unless your office is in an anechoic chamber. there's enough other noise in my area (fans/phones/HVAC/white noise generation that people don't even notice it

TBH the shitty chick-let keys on my laptop might actually be louder. they are at least higher pitched and more annoying to me when i'm typing on it

if i had to guess 1 year. i honestly don't know and TBH a keyboard is not something i really worry about having some amazing warranty

Looks like I'll keep that site in mind if I ever need another one. One guy at my office has a mechanical keyboard and I think the rest of his team hates him because of all the noise(open floor plan).

You can put the rubber washers on the bottom of the key stems to vastly reduce the noise. It won't go away, as you'll always have the switch noise, but it won't be as noisy if you don't bottom out. Of course, that depends on the type of switch. For example, Cherry Reds have a small activation distance, so you don't need to bottom out anyway; however, most people still do as we're just kinda used to typing and pushing the key down its entire travel distance.
