Lola, let them be. They aren't female and they will never get it, because it's way too easy for them to push off their various views (from "all women should look like porn stars" to "all women should cover their faces") on people they don't know and don't understand.
Like I said earlier, I would never get a boob job because I don't want the medical risks and it isn't my type of thing to do anyway, but I understand your reasons for wanting one. Just figure they don't and won't understand and let it go.

Its not always about being insecure. Im not sure why everyone thinks that?
Sure it's about being insecure. Why else would people get them done? It's because of the fascination that our culture has with huge boobies, and if you don't have them, then you feel insecure about it. I'm curious to know what the other reasons would be, except for things like cancer etc...
how about because girls do not want to have to buy 75$ push up bras to fill out normal women's sized tops and dresses. because they don't want to shop in the little girls deptartment anymore.
And that is pretty much the definition of being insecure...ie shopping in the little girls dept makes you feel bad, due to social pressures and personal insecurities...and the same is basically true for the bra thing...if you don't want to spend the money, don't buy it. You'll not be thought less of for your chest size by anyone who matters, so your purchas to fit a social stigma is a sure sign of insecurity once again.
*shrug* I'm not attacking you, merely pointing out that the statements you make support his comment about insecurity, not refute it.
Just picutre me screaming this because i am DONE trying to make people see a different point of view...
i was annoyed by it. it didnt make me feel bad. i felt annoyed. what the HELL kinds of social pressures come with not being able to fit into tops that I LIKE... not my husband, not random people in a magazine... ME.
In all honesty, i usually never wore bras if i didn't have to, but unless i wanted to spend big bucks to have clothes made for me, i had to get a push up bra to fill in any sort of clothing that appealed to me. Some people actually like looking nice and having clothes that fit.
GAH! stop digging trying to find reasons that women get this done for self esteem or insecurity issues or that just because they have the oppertunity to do something because they want to makes them wrong.
I am not self absorbed at ALL, but i can guarentee that if you saw me in real life, if you didn't know who i was, you would stare at my chest if i walked by and would have no idea that i had a BA.

I think men understand in a similar way. Men are constantly surrounded by the message that women like a large penis. Much like how women are constantly surrounded by the message that men like large boobs. If there was an easy surgery, similar to breast implants, to increase the size of the penis, there would be plenty of men getting that surgery. Their reason for doing so would be insecurity about their size.

you assume so much. what if, like im my GFs situation, she's carrying around double-ds. They hurt her back and she wants them reduced. Would you still castigate her for her medical decision then?

LOLA - please relax, you don't need to defend your position. i would say 95% of these people on here wouldn't even have a chance with a chic like you.
i too probably won't respond any more becasue people are pretty set in their ways on this topic(?), but like you said, if they viewed you walking down the street, they would stare and wish.
just out of curiosity, what is your BA in? you can pm if you want to answer so as not to have all the jealous haters on here bag on everything a good looking chic does. if you don't want to answer that is cool to, i was just curious
in all honesty, i am rather surprised by the results, but i guess it is just the demographics of the board. if we had this topic on a car site or sports site, i am sure the responses would have been different.
DAGTA - i think you hit the nail on the head

ROFL
I'm guessing that BA = Breast Augmentation...the politically correct term for a boob job.
As for 'having a chance' I don't date insecure women, so it's really irrelevant (not saying she is, just that most women who get such surgeries are). I also don't date based on looks, because I'm not shallow and base. But thanks for playing.![]()

The guy has a condition that means he can't get an erection. The womans breasts still do their function.
I suppose the man could live without intercourse but what about his quality of life? But then what about the womans quality of life with smaller breasts?
Koing
i can see what you are saying, but i am just making a point about the different sets of "accepted"conditions between the sexes. if a 75yr old male can't get it up because he is old, there is a "accepted medical" remedy, ie a pill, where if a woman wants larger breast the way to fix that is a augmentation, but that part does not seem to be so accepted, especially here.

First of all, Lolawiz or anyone else who has had experience with breast augmentation maybe can answer this question for us. After getting the procedure done, do the boobs still feel real? Have then same feeling? How long did it take to recover? Etc...
Now for the guys. If YOUR girlfriend wanted to get it done, would you encourage her, object, or be neutral about it? Explain why.

For what other reason would you get it done?
to not have to buy special bras to give you fake breasts, to not have to shop in the girls department of stores, to make oneself feel sexy sans clothes. to walk on the beach and not hunch over to hide yourself.
No matter what anyone says, apperance is imoportant. maybe not ALL the time, but a lot of the time.
I could go on and on and on and on.

come on all you guys that love to look at the pr0n or look at women that have nice bodies with proportinally sized breasts, why don't we bring up the male version of boob jobs - the pen!s pumps, enhancements??? come on guys lets talk about that since everybody has the joy of talking all this sh!t about women....
what about cialis, viagra??? in the case of men, it is all about self esteem so quit judging because if you had some issue (regardless of whether it was mental, physical, or you just couldn't last more than a 2 pump chump) where your woody wouldn't get wood, i am sure you would be talking to the doc to get some of these drugs, or even an implant and doubt you would admit it
