Its not always about being insecure. Im not sure why everyone thinks that?

For what other reason would you get it done?

to not have to buy special bras to give you fake breasts, to not have to shop in the girls department of stores, to make oneself feel sexy sans clothes. to walk on the beach and not hunch over to hide yourself.

No matter what anyone says, apperance is imoportant. maybe not ALL the time, but a lot of the time.
I could go on and on and on and on.

See, that's the lack of self esteem I was talking about. It's not just you...it's most women in todays society. Where does it stop? As I said in my other post. You going to get botox? Tummy tuck? There's going to be something else you dont like in the next few years.

Try learning to love yourself for who you are. Workout and try to make the things you like about yourself stand out better...like oh say..your personality? :)

Dude 99% of girls aren't happy with their bodies. Even the most gorgeous girl ISN'T happy with her own body/ face or some part.

If a person wants them let them have it. Just that if your my SO I would prefer that you did not. Different folks different strokes. I prefer natural breasts no matter how small or large.

My gripe with implant boobs is that they 'stick' out too often. They look 'too' defined in their shape and the way they 'hug' the body. Even if they are smaller and match the body better. They should make them more with a slope at the base of the implant so less of a half circle type of shape but more like how real breasts are to a womans body. They pan out in shape as they approach the womans body. Could be that they would be really difficult to keep the shape like this properly?

Funny I was watching this plastic surgery program yesterday. This girl wanted to look like Carmen Electra. She was 5"4 same sort of height and figure. She got D cups. They looked too much for her frame. C's would have looked better. Man some of those people are GREEDY when it comes to boobs. Do they not realise C cups are BIG?! The implants stick out too much and they are all b!tching about the PAIN. Hilarious that they have not seen a programme or done any research on it, to realise that it is a painful op. Maybe the Dr didn't tell them of the pain you get from a breast implant?

Then this particular girl was whinging about getting mens attention in the street. FFS your wearing a TIGHT top men can see. Men are dogs at times and you will get attention if you grave it or not. She graved for attention in the first place. Before the op she wanted to be NOTICED, now she doesn't. Wear less tight clothes and your big D cups won't show so much. She is thinking of a breast reduction now. She had some lipo also. She still needs to work out to drop the last few lbs. She wasn't fat by any means but she had some fat that she wanted to get rid of. Lipo won't cut you up a lot if you don't have 'a lot' of fat to take away. The Dr took quite a bit of fat but she wanted more off. She should wear less tight tops and she won't get attention. The people you look at in magazines with flat stomachs work hard or are very strict with themselves people!

But on the flip side can't a girl wear a tight top and not get attention you ask? Not from most guys it seems...

I'd object. Because I don't really care about breast size, and since she wasn't doing it for me who does that leave? other guys or herself, and even if she claims she's doing it for herself, it's really so other guys will give her more attention, thus it's "for herself".

I agree. That's the main giveaway to a boob job (for me) -- the boobs look too round to me. Another giveaway is that most women get a size that doesn't occur too often in their frame size.

Indeed.

It's just most women getting greedy and going too large. Or rather the ones I see on MTV wanting too big :p

They need to 'soften' the shape at the base of the implant so they match the womans body more naturally. Most implants will look fake as this 'meeting' point between implant and body is far too defined to look real. Sure they can look real in some clothes but when they come off they don't look real to me.

If a woman wants it she can get it  but I don't like it. Not that she'd care anyway :p

i couldnt imagine my chick would want to...i wouldnt stand in her way.

edit: but the poll sort of stinks. i wouldnt stop her but i would prefer for her to be "natural" (which, to me, seems like a sort of better-than-you way to put it)

seriously, though...they are just breasts. they dont mean that much to my relationship.

it totally depends on the doc. they can order from different brands and shapes of implants, some more round, some more teardrop, widths etc. some docs will buy a lot of a popular size and then try to make them fit on every chic regardless of her size. some docs will also recommend against certain sizes, but then there are the docs that do whatever to get the $$$$ and that is all they care about.

a friend or ours had her's done and they stuck out quite a bit, she was about 5'8" and had a brazilian/italian body and that is what she wanted. she had a lot of of boobs and a$$ and she was very happy and she looked very good, but more of a porn/stripper type chic (high class stuff, like jenna jameson, not blow your goat stuff) which is what she wanted.

when my wife had hers done, they were specially ordered to her exact size based on what she wanted, not what i wanted and not what the doc wanted. he was cool about it and had no probs. but, this was not the first doc we went to for a consultation, some would say - this is what you are going to get, and how are you going to pay for it.

second, about lipo, it is basically for fit people that can't get fat off of certain areas, that is the misconception. you don't get lipo to lose weight, some people, regardless of how in shape they are and how religious they go to the gym couldn't get a 6pack regardless, it is in the genes, this is where lipo comes in, that is why it is often referrered to as liposculpture.

those that are so against them, fake breasts do not have to equal HUGE breasts.

No offense, but they do look hella fake. You're pretty skinny in the first place, and those look out of place.

Edit: Maybe a slight hyperbole in saying "hella", but still I think it's pretty obvious that they're when compared to the rest of your body. Not saying that it looks excessive, but I can tell that they're fake.

Breast pump & crooked teeth are not the same category. Breast pump is a sign of self indulgence and if my woman must have it and not for medical reason I would have to accept it because it is her choice, but I don?t have to like it or be approving of it.

I like things that are natural and even if penis enlargement is possible I wouldn?t run out & line up to get my johnson lengthen.

Each person to their own, however one has to live with one decision.

Well first I doin't believe that for a second. If people ATE properly and TRAINED properly I could gurantee results. If they did what I made them do they would and COULD get an 8 pack. It won't be easy but I can gurantee if. I had a guy drop 35lbs within 6 months of hard training and good eating. Sure he binged like f0ck at times but he is only human. This guy could drink a 2litre bottle and eat 20 popsicles and 2 Big mac meals! He got determine to shape up and followed what I told him. He trained 3x a week and ate better. It isn't rocket science. The basics carry a person very very very far.

It all just depends on how far a person is willing to work and how much they want it.

I've seen many implants that look real when naked or worn with a bikini. Most of the ones I see look nice enough under clothes but not real when in a bikini or tight clothes.

I know about tear drop implants but they still stick out imo when compared to real ones. Kind of hard to explain unless I got pics and rounded where they are fake and when real ones are. It is where the breasts join 'seaminglessly' to the womans body. The fat build up isn't level and it just levels off really nicely on a real womans body. Looks SO hot .

Lipo is indeed for people like that. This girl was 5"4 about 110-115lbs (the Dr said, didn't see exactly on the scales). She wasn't 'fat' by any stretch of the imagination but she had fat there on her stomach. She could have lost most of it by eating properly and exercising but most people are lazy or can't/ won't put the time to doing it :p. They took quite a bit of fat out but she still looked 'soft' and not 'hard' and flat.

you don't have to believe it but it is the truth, that is why docs only take out some much via liposuction/liposculture. and mostly for women because they have more fat then men.

i have known many dancers(topless) that are rock hard, but only get the line down the stomach, but want a little 4-6pack, they go to the gym, eat healthy, dance(topless, hell of a workout considering some do it 4-6hrs/day) but still can't get it. i don't know if they have gone as far a binging before, but that is definately not too healthy and would still equal that it was not in the genes if somebody has to force themselves to throw up to get to that point

If they make you feel better AND they dont pose a threat to your health(YES.. all operations are risky.. but).. go for it.. and as boyfriends/husbands, we should be there for them as unconditional support(which also includes telling them when NOT to do it)

Its a tough call, I personally think anyone should do whatever they want, and though I wouldn't encourage someone to get a boob job (the surgery.. duha), I wouldn't stop her either if that's what she felt was right for her.
As long as you do it out of your own FREE will, and not subject to any pressure (well, naturally other than what society wants you to look like...), then you can do whatever you want, I don't think it makes you a better or worse person either way.
I would suggest that these sorts of operations shouldn't be available for someone under 18 or perhaps even 21.

i agree with the age since a woman has not even grown up yet at 19 or so, but with mom/dad's consent i have heard of them being done on 16-17yr olds, which, imo is way to damn young

Another option would be to go to a go go bar. You will find them in all shapes & sizes, and in the good places, the girls will let you totally check them out.

I have no way in whether or not my GF wants breast augmentation, but I would not want her to do it. There is a subtle but noticable difference between the two. Size doesn't matter that much anyway, so long as she's happy with them.

i have known many dancers(topless) that are rock hard, but only get the line down the stomach, but want a little 4-6pack, they go to the gym, eat healthy, dance(topless, hell of a workout considering some do it 4-6hrs/day) but still can't get it. i don't know if they have gone as far a binging before, but that is definately not too healthy and would still equal that it was not in the genes if somebody has to force themselves to throw up to get to that point

It is not the truth.

They aren't training properly to get a flat stomach. When you mean 'line' what does that mean? How much fat do they have? They are eating too much or eating bad foods. You can't possibly tell me if they are dancing 4-6hrs a day (not all that time is 'constant' dancing imo) and they can't have a flat stomach that is pretty much fat free. Sure they will have some fat but they will be flat. Or do they want a 'ripped' 6 pack like a guys? That is a lot different to a flat stomach as girls have a lot less muscle fat and have higher bf% naturally.

I bet they are doing poor ab exercises and for too many reps also. People don't need to do 1000x of crunches but just make them harder or 8reps x 4 sets or so. Mix it up a bit etc.

I see people in the gym yearly and they never change. Sure they train hard but they are training poorly. Training a lot but poorly != Training less and smarter.

How flat and lean are their stomachs after so much training? Granted people have different standards they hold themselves to. I mean if they have abs like a pop singers (pretty flat imo in most cases) then they want a 6 pack?
