BTW, the reason you can't sue is because if something is wrong, the food preparer is charged under the criminal code. You probably could sue for a small amount after all the court proceedings finished...not sure. The funniest case was when some guy tried to tell my dad that he found a live roach in a bottle of Coke. My dad questioned him as to how the roach didn't drown to which the guy told my dad to stop being a smart alek

I'm sorry, but the burden is on the kid and his mother to prove they didn't plant the maggots. Had it been dead maggots, the story would be slightly more believable. >>

I *seriously* doubt it.

Cheeseburger meat is cooked at way too high of a temp, for way too long, and it's pressed.
I can't see anything surviving 425F for 38 seconds.
