McDonald's Monopoly

Anybody playing? We had to go stopping off the highway this weekend and got a few different pieces.

Need Tennessee Avenue. :awe:

apparently 1 in 6 wins here, must be different in Canada. I've eaten there twice with about 12 tickets and haven't won anything yet.

I won a $400 BestBuy gift card from Wendy's NCAA promotion a week and a half ago. Dunno if I have any luck left to win anything from McD's outside of a free medium fry.

I quit eating at McDonalds when they have the Monopoly promotion. I remember all too well a prior McDonalds Monopoly promotion where someone at the promotion company stole the good Monopoly pieces and gave them to their friends. I find it a slap in the face of the American public that McDonalds continued to run this game after it got so screwed up and cheated the public. There are enough games out there they could have easily picked another one.

So they have one year of cheating and they need to do away with it entirely? If that was the case then we'd have to get rid of every single video game, every lottery, and every casino game ever. No need for an overreaction unless it happens every time.

Wow, someone who is offended by McDonald's giving away free stuff with their McFattass burgers.

I won a muffin by the way.

Is there a site which lists what the rare pieces are? edit: yup

0I remember what Raizinman is talking about, but from my memory it wasn't just one year it was a several year span where "insiders" had been hoarding rare pieces and giving them to family/friends to cash in.

There is a game you can play at McDonalds everyday ....its called Happy Meal Roulette. You can win prizes such as Heart Disease, Cancer, Obesity and Liver Failure!!!!

I remember when people on slickdeals were sending in for free pieces and getting them sent post office boxes. They came with something like a $2-$5 credit at bestbuy and people were getting free tvs and stuff.

I guess it so you can't get the fish sandwich it is like $4.00 and I like the fish.

I really like their filet-o-fish. But put it on the dollar menu. It's like my McMeal rounder. Gimme a big mac meal, large and a filet-o-fish. And a double cheese burger. If I could get Monopoly pieces on all of that, mmmmm.

I think you have get pieces on large fries and drinks so make my meal supersize please.

No but I can guarantee that if you eat there enough you will damage your health severely and possibly win a lot on money.

Yeah my old roommate did that. He actually got a PO box in some state that had a law requiring companies to pay the return postage for things that normally require you to mail a self-addressed stamped envelope. So instead of paying for two envelopes and two stamps per game piece, he only had to pay for one. Then he had the game pieces bulk mailed to him.

He figured out the maximum amount of Best Buy credits you could use per day, per store, and bought stuff with it to sell on eBay. Ended up making like $10k one year, but he did put a lot of hours into it so his hourly rate wasn't that great.
