They taste good... but they also super bad for you. Like more bad than say, a chip stand fry which is just cut up potatoes that are deep fried. McDonald's fries are more processed and have lot of other additives in them too. I don't know if this is strictly McDonald's probably most fast food places.

But I guess that goes for most fast food not just the fries. There's always all sorts of nasty additives in there.

Just make your own already.

McD fries are essentially frozen flavoured mash potato sticks. You probably dont have the freezing/shaping machine handy so cut your potatoes, boil them in msg+vegetable stock cube broth (salted) until they become porous, and then drain & freeze them.

I have an actify and it makes awesome fries. Straight from potatoes, only thing I add is coconut oil. So much better than frozen fries too. You just can't get frozen fries to taste good especially in the oven. But even in the actifry they were meh. But doing it from actual potatoes is awesome. More or less chip stand quality fries.

Serious.

Burger King chips FTW.
You're in the UK, why are you buying your chips in a crappy burger chain?

Was in NYC a couple of weeks ago. Had McD since it was close. Fuck it was horrible.

Had Wendy's in Pennsylvania and is was consistent with Wendy's here. Don't understand how people can stomach McD.

BK UK chips are horrid, just like everything else BK does (that I've tried, which admittedly isn't a lot), relative to other forms of fast food.

McD and KFC chips are ok for fast food restaurants.
