They have to be eaten immediately in order to have any chance of being good. Even then, you're looking at a 75% chance tops.
BK fries... well, they're just bad no matter what you do.

I don't understand why they can't go back to the original recipes that made them a success. Same with Pizza Hut and KFC. They used to be great. It can't just be money. I'd pay to if they could taste the way it used to.

The oil they used to use was loaded with trans fat. And since they used to have beef flavor the veggies and vegans complained.

Wendys fries at their best are /not bad/. Seems to be a 10% chance of getting them at their best. They're usually limp, cold grease sticks.

If you're into crinkle fries, Culver's has a phenomenal track record. Don't think I've had them ever be anything other than hot and crispy there.

The local bowling alley always had amazing crinkle cut fries. This is going back 30-40 years. They no longer exist :^(

It's location dependent. Like any fries, it needs to be fried crisp. Soggy limp fries are the worst.

The best McDonalds fries are served in Chicago. Likewise, the best Chick-fil-A locations are in metro Atlanta. I thought the best Bojangles would be in Charlotte, NC, but after eating at one there, it only confirmed Bojangles is terrible.
