ENTJ/INTJ. I come out almost 50/50 on E-I. Really varies on when I take the test as to which one wins out.

I have no idea what this means.

INTJ

Something like 90% 88% 89% 22% down the line.

Pretty much everytime this thread idea pops up INTJs are most common, even though only 1-2% of the population is INTJ.

Bump 'cause I was considering posting a thread on this.

I've mentioned personality typing a few times around here. Usually in a way that is typical of me: Comments like 'this is why certain people should never ever become engineers' or some such. 😀

I was never into 'clinical psychology' or whatever. Never seemed to help. But researching and studying psychology on my own has actually been somewhat enlightening. It allowed to realize that for all his bullshit, Freud DID put forward some very insightful stuff. And Jung built on that (and added a bit of his own insanity on the side), and in large part from that, Myers/Briggs did built a REALLY excellent model for inborn (eff you Freud) personality traits. And it really has helped me to better understand why I generally don't get along all that well with most people, both from their perspective and from mine. It's a great social tool.

For those who think it seems a bit too random and nonsensical, I might suggest checking out Keirsey's tweaks to the MBTI. Basically, same types, but he re-orders the traits with regard to importance and give them much less cryptic descriptions. Also, you gets you a fancy name to go with your type. :awe:

Also of note, I like this test at least as much as the one in the OP. It seems a little more 'dumb' than the other, but the presence of a middle ground option and the simplicity/brevity seem to make it quite accurate. I've used that one on a lot of my friends, heh.

Anyway: INTP here. ('the architect')

This thread (also there was another from early 2012) helps confirm one suspicion I have had for awhile: The internet can generally be defined as 'a place for NTJ's and NTP's to argue about shit.'

Weird, since first taking these kinds of tests I've always gotten either INTJ or INTP, probably 90/10. ISTJ this time. I got the impression that some of the questions misinterpreted the answer I was forced to choose, though.

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (31%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%)

Is that like the Space Jockey? 😀

Keirsey calls INTJ the 'mastermind.' A good friend of mine is that, and god is it fitting.

edit: I linked Wikipedia page for Keirsey above; also-

Pretty good descriptions on his site. The letters don't mean much if you can't read a little about your (supposed) self.

I also like this site, despite the shitty look. I don't know who wrote it, but they seem to know what they're talking about.
