Haven't taken this in a few years, was curious if my type had changed. Nope still an INTJ. Allegedly there are fewer female INTJs but meh. INTJs like to be all proud of their type, there's even a forum for it. Mutual ego masturbation mostly.

Extravert(44%) iNtuitive(12%) iNtuitive Thinking(12%) Judging(67%)

You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (44%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have distinctive preference of Judging over Perceiving (67%)

I hate people, but enjoying being the life of the party. I'm overly sensitive and that causes me to lash out, leading them to believe I'm insensitive. I'm very judgmental and critical because I'm an asshole.

What the fuck is this shit? Also, I think MBTI-personality types is like astrology.

I got INTJ a while back (And christ, we are like legion online. What the fuck?). I could take the test again... Ah, hell, I'm waiting for the drugs to kick in. Let's try it. ENTJ. Yeah, whatever. I'm really between I/E because I in fact joy the company of others, but only if I like the people. But, I hate almost everyone. So, it's rare to enjoy that company.

Extravert(33%) iNtuitive(62%) iNtuitive Thinking(62%) Judging(100%)

  • You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (33%)
  • You have distinctive preference of Intuition over Sensing (62%)
  • You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
  • You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (100%)

No, it's not like astrology. You can agree or disagree with just about any aspect of psychology/sociology, but that doesn't make it all made-up bullshit.

Also, you be one judgin' motherfucker. Goddamn.

Again, if you actually read about the shit rather than just taking the test and getting letters, it gets a bit deeper. And again, Keirsey's interpretation makes the most sense (and is in the best order), IMO-

abstract or concrete? (N/S)
cooperative/complying or utilitarian/adaptive? (F/T)
directive or informative? (J/P)
expressive or attentive? (E/I)

Introvert/extrovert is the last step because it's the most mixed. The others are often rather explicit.

I think in abstract, figurative ways, rather than in concrete and literal terms. I have zero respect for rank/authority/title/ect and instead evaluate things through analysis as the situation arises. I don't tell people what to do, I tell them what I perceive to be the facts.

...goddamn J's. ;P

In all honesty, I'd say that the MBTI doesn't have a particularly strong following with most (clinical) psychologists. Some people can be pretty big on it, though.

Meh. At the end of the day, all that matters (because it's all that anyone gives a shit about) is what you achieve in life and how your achievements are useful to people. You may have a 150 IQ but that's just gonna be a pointless number without any real world achievement.

It of itself may not be made up, but what makes this type of testing at least this one so inaccurate are the people taking the test.

Hey lets make it so I say "yes" to a lot of the crap I think I should instead of that's what I do. Which I got a feeling a lot of the people here did.

There are tests by an observer rather than the testee, but they're markedly less reliable for obvious reasons.

The importance isn't so much in taking a test as actually finding 'your' type. The vast majority of people will fit quite snugly into one type; but not all will find said type through a self-administered test. The goal is a realization of your solidly-established traits and the positive and negative effects they have on yourself and others. It's to tell you how you are, not how you should be.

Is it necromancy if the body is still warm?

I just took MBTI and Keirsey and came up with INTJ and Rational-Mastermind.
Introvert(44%) iNtuitive(62%) Thinking(62%) Judging(44%)

The INTJ profile page fits me to a T, but I (unfortunately?) already knew a lot of that about myself. But, I didn't know that I'm a 1%er; I'll have to remember that as I work on marketing myself.

I wonder if the results will be much different in the morning. Right now I'm stressed, tired, and in a strange mood...

I am also an INTJ. I've taken quite a few of these over the past few years, starting in my high school psychology class. I've been an INTJ since the first time I took it. However, I've become less introverted (noticeable in both the testing results and everyday life).

EDIT: Just retook it. My introversion went back up. Here is this time's results:
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (50%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (89%)
