From what I understand, based on what I read at:
https://www.mbnashopsafe.com/
there are no hidden charges the way Discover (after 3 months without cancelling the number) and AMEX Blue (do they?) hit you with, for using their one time numbers. And Mastercard's added benefit is this:
you assign the $ amount the one time number has inside of it. If the merchant sneakily hits you off with extra charges, BAM - it's rejected.
I buy a lot of stuff at a lot of shady places, because that's where the hot deals are. Everyone knows about the Red Bird Dog Associates or some sh!t like that who were giving out the 'free' magazines for 1 year for $2.95.
Where's my muscle and fitness?
I cancelled my mastercard and got a new one, worrying my number would be circulating somewhere it shouldn't be after that one.
...i bet someone will find a hole in mastercard's wording and prove me wrong, and show me there are hidden charges. (I dare you) We'll all benefit then, (I won't get unholy bills for something I didn't know about) - and people know where to get these one time numbers to securely cash in on hot deals.
That's my 2 cents. BTW: got some killer deals on comparebookprices.com for my textbooks - thought i'd share while i was at it. summer session sucks :-(
