god damn, that car (3) looks hot! Love the RX8-likeness...and here I am, thinking abou leasing a 6...but I know I can't wait til next year to get a car, so I'll just have to drool whenever a 3 zips by me.
As for the cobalt...just another GM car that I'd get a discount on. Hate the Cavalier now, so unless they really pull something out of their asses, it can continue being the car that every high schooler gets around here (well, that, and a Neon)

If you're gonna lease a Mazda 6, why not get a 5 speed 4 banger ?
those are sweet, and it shouldn't be that much for financing it for like 60 months.
Does Mazda offer special financing rates ?

Only on the non-sport package equipped models. The sport package includes the 17" aluminum alloy wheels, red-iridescent gages and hvac controls, sport-type front airdam/bumper/side sills, and some other things I don't remember.
Basically, if you can, you should get this package.
I'm sure you can get a standard one and get it added on, not purchasing it that way but purchasing it after from the dealer and have it installed. I dont see how they would charge more than it's listed price since most dealers install options anyway.

The sport package isn't a dealer option, though. You'd basically be paying for the parts for the package, and then the labor required for the stuff to be installed.
Well adding side sills, bumper and airdams aren't difficult. Adding rims aren't difficult either.
You won't have the red gauges tho ..
I checked Cars Direct, and it allowed me to add the Sports Package. It's like a 500 dollar option.

Are you sure you're not just adding the appearance package? The appearance package is missing the stiffer suspension and red interior controls. I believe the actual sport package costs just north of $900.
hm.. maybe it is just the appearance package. $900 still doesn't sound bad for new rims + the factory kit.

That's why I recommended he purchase the sport package from the get-go. Adding it after the fact will likely be more expensive.

The only thing I don't understand is the the use of two different air vents (look on drivers side, then above the center console). Other than that, the only thing I would want is the ability to add an aftermarket radio in it (IE - use a standard DIN factoary radio solution). The 6 doesn't have that ability. I really like the colored leather too

I think the rectangle-shaped vents fit better with the design of the dash (the rectangle buttons and radio display, for example), while the the circular shaped vents fit with the rounded gauge cluster.Originally posted by: rbloedow

I agree about the non standard head unit. Looks awesome, but bugs the crap out of me since they aren't upgradable (short of tearing out the dash and putting in an aftermarket one).

That pic is just a photoshop of the Benz C-coupe with a Chevy-type front end, or are you talking about another pic?

Are you sure? That doesn't *quite* look like a C-Coupe body. Anyways, if it comes out anything like that, it would look nice...although, without the big wheels, it would probably look dumb, but that can be said of most cars.
