Wow, that looks pretty good, like a Jaguar or Aston Martin:

Don't get me wrong, I'm digging the 6 too, but saying it looks like an AM is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

I think it's the long nose in that angle that makes me see the similarities.

And, you know, the red ;)

Better in some ways, but the first generation looked a lot better on the outside.
I like the original speed3 and speed6, they look great.

The interior on the new ones are awesome though, I love the 6's gorgeous monotone gauges, so clean looking.

Mazda is still a tough sell on me though, up in these parts they rust twice as fast as any other brand, and I do not and never will like rust.

Well it looks better than the current model. I still like first one so much more.

New 6 is nice though. Mazda is doing great things. I hope they bring the Japanesse MPV!

I was going to hate on it, until I read that they are going to have the larger skyactiv motor as an option. That's pretty awesome in my opinion. Should be able to have something somewhat quick and still get ~40 MPG if they do it right.

I assume they'll probably release a next gen Mazdaspeed maybe the following year, hope to god with a next generation engine that gets 30+ MPG HWY

Very BMW-esque. I think it takes a lot of styling cues from the Z4, which I think looks amazing.

i'm in the market for a midsized sedan and one of my must-have's is a sunroof. I really like the styling of the 2014 Mazda 6 - i think it's probably the best looking midsized sedan out there now - both inside and out. But to get a 6 with a sunroof, you'd have to opt for the highest trim, the grand touring, which costs $30K. Sorry but for 30K, Mazda should offer an upgraded engine that can compete with the Accord V6 and the Fusion Titanium.

I don't mind the 184hp skyactive engine the Mazda 6 comes with, but it doesn't belong on a 30K car! If mazda offered sunroof as an option on the 23K touring model, I'd buy the 6 touring in a second!

Don't get me started on Mazda's pricing/packaging logic. They don't include bluetooth audio on any of the base "sport" models equipped with a manual tranmission. And in the case of the CX-5 the base model is the only one you can even get a manual. In the the 6 you can get it in the "Touring" trim but they won't let you order the tech pack with HID's.

For a freaking company that boasts it's sporting attitude it sure wants to crap on the most sporting transmission choice available.

yep. if I was considering a manual (this car will be a family car, and wife is unwilling to learn how to drive a stick), it would add to my frustration. Man the 6 with soul red color is freaking gorgeous, but my sensible side just cant bring myself to pay $30K for it considering its competition has 60-80hp advantage on it!

Weird, my wife's 2012 CX-7 was stock and included Bluetooth. I was able to play music through it but the low quality created ear fatigue.

I have those packages as well, i wish you could custom build with the features you want. Does Scion do that?

Lots of nice cars these days. Wish I was "regular" some times and didn't "need" 600+ HP to feel safe and secure from douchebags.

not sure if scion does it. When is the Mazda 6 diesel coming to the states? Dealer was saying next year, but I'm sure he said that so I buy a car he has and not a car he will get in the future
