I heard a story where someone somehow managed to tie their thermostat to the phone line by accident.

Trouble came in, user said that every time their phone rings, the furnace starts. 😀
 
I'm surprised the ring voltage of the phone line didn't blow that customer's furnace, but it's current limited so maybe the relay provided enough resistance so it dropped the voltage down. Ring voltage is like 170 volts AC I think. It's a really slow pulsating feeling when you get shocked by it. 😀
 
I'm strangely calm right now, something bad is going to happen tonight I think. walking thru an inch of wet sugar in my kitchen is pushing my buttons right now
 
You really need to abandon ship lol. Find yourself another apartment and just leave. If they don't pay the rent they'll eventually be kicked out. (though the Ontario laws for that are laughable, you can pretty much live somewhere for free for over a year)

I hear you man, just bothers me that they won and I lost. because i love this cheap apartment,..but you are right..i gotta cut my losses.

They may have "won" in the sense that you're leaving, but they're also winning by making you miserable. The only way you can win is to ditch them and be happy on your own.
 
Make sure you take EVERYTHING that is yours, all of your dishes, silverware, etc. Even if it is so funky that you just throw it away. Leave them with exactly what they came with and bought while they were there.

Trust me, they won't be "winning" when there is no more food in the house, no more beer to steal, etc... I'm guessing that you pay the utilities too so once you get those moved to your new place they will have to start paying them or live in the dark.
 
I guess the trick is to catch them when they're not home, do they ever leave? Is there a way you can make them leave for a day if they normally arn't gone at same time? Even if it involves you spending money (ex: telling them to go on a trip to Wonderland or something and paying it) it will be worth it in the end.

Basically you want to do this in one quick swoop where they show up and you're gone and all your stuff is gone, with a letter saying that they need to either vacate or take over the lease because you canceled it and that they need to talk to land lord not you. I don't know how this works legally, you'll want to get your ducks in a row, check with a lawyer to make sure you can actually do this, but assuming you're the only lease holder I can't see why not.

Come on now, this is Mayne we're talking about. He's one step away from picking up rice thrown at weddings for dinner. He's buying beer for kids if they let him keep a can. His primary source of entertainment is putting his hand down his pants and smelling his fingers. He needs the money his grandparents send with his birthday card. How's he supposed to pay them to leave for a day, consult a lawyer, or get his own place. That's just silly.

just spoke with the mother of my daughter for last 30 minutes. I feel so much better now. My daughter is going to have a baby in 1 month 🙂

I am so happy right now. I will talk to her in a couple days ...its been years.

A little update from mother's day yesterday.

So my nephew and his girlfriend went to visit her grandma yesterday. Decided to clean the place as usual. The toilet was clogged so I left a plunger in the toilet bowl for them, for when they got back. I had bought some chicken packs the other day and try some jerk chicken again...I left her one pack of chicken drums since she don't like spice...It was getting late and i was getting hungry so I cooked up the chicken and ate most of it...i figure they would of gotten some food like they always do and immediately hide it in their bedroom.

I hear them come in, i'm in my bedroom listening to youtube songs..10 minutes later I come out and the kitchen is trashed..8 bags of garbage piled in front of the front door. I ask her "are you mad?" she storms back into their room and yells "Go fuck yourself you fucking asshole"

I almost fell for that bait and lose my cool..i didn't. I went back in my room had one more beer and went to bed.

Wake up this morning and every single condiment in the fridge is poured into the sink. full bottle of ketchup/mustard/tub of sour cream/philly cream cheese..2 large mason jars of hot sause a friend made for me..2 bags of bread I bought for everyone ripped open and left to go stale.

This is my fucking life..all because of a 3 dollar pack of chicken I bought.

Great news. Nephew's girlfriend is getting kicked out and I'm bringing in my older sister to live here now.

It's the best fucking day ever!!!!! NO MORE SID & NANCY SHOW.
