He's logging in and out... he just isn't gracing us with his wisdom here. VERY disappointing after we welcomed him back with a Maynecoming.

Perhaps if we all celebrate Maynemas, Maynukkah, or Maynza he will return.

I just became aware that my life is what most people on these boards look to as an example of what rock bottom can look like, and that it gives them renewed motivation and perseverance to succeed and actually matter.

Don't be so sure. The guy who sits on the other side of the wall from me is going through a divorce right now, has a legitimate work-related back injury, and was on the phone this morning trying to pull out all money in his 401k for said issues. I can't help but hear him - he got quite angry when they basically said you need to quit your job to pull your 401k.

There is always a rockier bottom.

Life is generally better when drinking and smoking are reserved for rare occasions.

iirc that was in nova scotia

Yea, I believe technically the show is set about half an hour from Halifax ...

I know it says mayne is from Toronto, I just always saw him as being a lot like Ricky...

Maybe I was mistaken, and he is friends with the the Ex Mayer, Rob Ford and indeed lives in Toronto?

this, plus you have internet access, obviously. you may have hit YOUR rock bottom, but that may be several steps up from someone else's.

I made a joke that he should check his carbon monoxide detectors, because the quality of his posts seem to indicate carbon monoxide in his house might be an issue.... but maybe I was not wrong?

RIP Mayne.
