From what I understand, the totally nude places are 18 and up because they don't serve alcohol. However, the topless places serve alcohol and are 21 and up. I've only been to the nudie places (in San Diego at least), so I can't say for sure.
However, TJ is a different story....you can drink and go into any of the clubs if you're 18. They're pretty sketchy though. The waiters basically pressure you into buying a drink and practically demand you tip them for bringing you a lousy beer, not to mention you'll get mobbed by strippers offering to give you lapdances and grabbing your hands to put them on their boobies or something.
I went to these places a few times with a buddy from work a couple of years before I met my wife, but I stopped going mainly because it gets boring seeing the same old naked pole dance routine over and over (and the women are pretty sleazy to begin with, especially in TJ). I'd much rather stay at home and watch my wife get naked for me

As I said before, I don't drink alcohol anyhow, and I'm pretty positive I don't have narcalepsy. I wasn't feeling it man. It was a boring night and I was tired from work, I also felt bad about something I couldn't fulfill to a friend the night before. I was out of sync dude, give me a break. So I don't like nude bars, does it imply I'm gay or I'm lying about it?
Personally I think nudie joints are a boring waste of time and money. I've been twice. the first time was ok, second time was lame. I have better things to spend my money on.

And your wife hasn't been dealing with a lot of stuff too? She's the one who gave birth to your child and has to recuperate. Maybe you should save the money and buy her some flowers or something.

2nd, Let's see i deal with two kids, like she does, I deal with 13hr work days also. When i'm at home i clean butts, feed the older kid, and in the morning i take the older one to daycare. The GF sits at home watches the new baby, who sleeps all day.

I've fallen asleep at a regular club quite a few times... it was late, I was tired, the pounding music somehow turned soothing... found a comfy couch and just closed my eyes.
And I dunno... if I recently had a child, I'd be upset if my husband/bf/the dad went to a "boobie bar."
They used to have awesome strip clubs in Ohio, particularly in Toledo. Lap dances were more or less full contact. Some of the girls would practically blow you through your pants.
They've been cracking down on it recently though. Now if the girl is giving you a lap dance, either she has to be clothed or there's no contact allowed.

Woohoo. It's your choice, but I still think going to a strip club while your GF sits at home with the newborn kid is a real sh!theel thing to do, no matter how hard you've been working.
