I'm not positive, but I believe in this case OP was, by international convention, supposed to curb stomp the guy and then shove his friends into a gas chamber. Is that right, Slim? I'd look it up, but my "Rules for Manning Up" is still the 1980 edition - things might have changed since then.

read the thread.

I did and your point is complete hogwash. You are criticizing the OP because they didn't back up their words. The only reasonable way to back up hate speech is with a hate crime. What kind of a man are you if you have such vitriolic hate for Jews but can't back it up by attempting extermination?

I think the point just took out a condor as it flew over your head.

His point is rubbish because there aren't two alternatives for being a proper man. The only alternative was to apologize. There is no second alternative wherein he enacts violence upon the person. That makes him less of a man.

If you remember from the story the other guy said If you have something to say, then say to my face. Therefore aside from appologizing the other option would have been to say right to his face:

That he is a dumb fucking jew and he has a vitriolic hate for all jews including him. And that he wishes all jews were wiped off the earth.

Its certainly not a crime. A man would have no problem saying with conviction what his belief was to someones face that they were able to say to them in passing from a distance. That is having the balls to stand behind your word.

It may in fact be a crime to get right into someone's face and physically intimidate them while speaking of all the various ways you wish their entire religion would be exterminated.

Also, if you have a strong belief that something should happen and you don't act upon it, you are a weak person even if you go right up to someone and tell them what you think should happen.

As a bouncer do you go up to people and tell them you think you should throw them out, then leave?

Well I'm not advocating violence here. I don't think anyone was. But if you feel ok speaking your mind to someone from a distance you shouldn't have an issue doing the same in person.

Actions do speak louder than words but violence is not always necessary. When THings displease me I don't immediately opt to destroy them. That is not very civil or responsible is it?

Crowd control in a club cannot be compared to real life. It is my job to keep the club and its patrons secure. If that requires physical aggression thats what my job requires and it is always last resort.

It's not civil or responsible to yell bigoted remarks from a distance. It is even LESS responsible to then walk up to someone and do it two inches from their face. You are advocating an escalation of the incident. That is not how civilized people act. A "real man" is not a caveman, it's someone who acts responsibly and uses their brain, not someone who drags their knuckles around and lets testosterone rule their life.

I love how a guy makes a thread with the title "maybe I should watch my mouth" and then a bunch of internet blowhards come in shouting about how maybe he should watch his mouth. Bunch of self-righteous twits.

UFC isn't a sport.

And could you all stop with the nested quotes? We know it's an ongoing conversation; we don't need the whole thing rehashed for every single comment.

Also, there's nothing wrong with homo-eroticism. Unless you're a homophobic tard.

I agree! I have a Bachelor's in Theatre and accoring to Lewis Black, that makes me an honorary homosexual anyhow.

The irony is that oftentimes, the "bros" who watch that sort of thing on TV are virulently homophobic and the words "gay" and "i love you" come out of them like gangbusters.

For the record half the staff and clientel at the club I work at are gay. How homophobic Can I be. Ironic as well is the fact that our biggest bouncer is a UFC fighter he will be competing at foxwoods or mohegan sun this saturday. Definitely no homo there.

Furthermore...I don't have a single tattoo or piercing. I drive a full size sedan. I don't wear hats in public.

It is obvious you are hating because deep down you have some sort of envy because you were probably the nerdy scrawny artsy guy that never got any hot tail. Its ok man.

Just out of curiosity, what does the part of your statement that I bolded have to do with anything? Did I miss a page?

Actually, it's a religious affiliation. The ethnicity you're trying to think of is Hebrew.

Although in common usage today, people commonly use it interchangeably as an ethnicity.

Yep - you got me, I'm "hating."

Christ, did you fall out of a bad Eminem movie?

Actually it is a question, "maybe I should watch my mouth?"

The answer I gave is--yes, you should.

It's a rhetorical question. It addresses no one.

Edit: In fact, it's not even a rhetorical question. It's a common use of the question mark to convey a certain tone of voice over a text-based medium.

Right, Mixed martial arts is a sport, UFC is a org that puts on MMA events.

As for homo-erotic. It's only gay if you make eye contact. Although it has been my experience that most people who call it gay are either too intimidated by it, or ironically metro sexual pansy men.

It's always "Hur, look at that guy between another guys legs!" And never "Holy shit he is smashing that guys face in with an elbow!" Most of these guys are the same people who watch pro wrestling.

Sorry for the tirade, MMA is a very important activity to me. I do not like to see it degraded. Its a safe, fun, challenging, skilled sport that requires a lot from the participants.

In today's society I wouldn't be surprised if it was a crime. Ask this woman Text who called some kids monkeys because they were climbing in the tree. Oh btw, they were black.

Damn right. IcebergSlim can dance if he wants to. He can leave your friends behind. Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, well, they're no friends of Ice.

Jews are technically a race.

They are a subset of Semites, and are pretty ancient, along with the Ancient Egyptians, Hyksos, Arabs, and I suppose you could argue Indians have some semitic blood in them, but it'd be pushing it.

That's a fucked up song.

Judaism is a religion, not a race. Being middle eastern, caucasian, oriental, black, etc., are races. Course it does suck, we should all just be people. After all, we're all pink inside.

call me oriental, that means you want my eggroll in your mouth. oriental is food not people.
