Amex price matching is the best.

I recently bought a camera from Circuit City B&M and then used Amex to price match to a website. Amex had no problem with it - I beleive since Best Buy and Circuit City dont have price match policies for internet sites that its okay to price match with Amex. And as far as I know, the price match policies of Circuit City and Best Buy are pretty similar

I could be wrong :/

well....for those of you who bought it - let us know what happens (if AMEX does the PM or not...)

thanks...

Fingers crossed...I'll prolly give them a call tomorrow or tuesday depending on when the charge get's posted on my account. I'll let you guys know what I find.

I just read in the other post(fatwallet) that you MAY have to wait 30 days before requesting a PM from AMEX. BB's PM policy is up to 30 days...
"As far as Amex's bvg policy goes, what the csr told me was that as long as the stores price match policy was not still in effect amex would do the pm. So, if best buy's pm policy says they will match any price within 30 days, you have to wait 30 days before trying to go through amex. "

This was a hot deal at $100 AR - is it at least warm at $150 AR ?

Nobody seems to be commenting - maybe the title doesn't spell it out clearly enough.

With Amex PM and rebate, Best Buy deal comes to $100 plus tax. Newegg has it for $155 plus shipping. Those are not similar deals. Best Buy has larger initial outlay, but it is far more profitable at the end.

Couple months ago $100 after MIR this card was a super hot deal. It is not as hot now, but is still very good deal.

I would also like to add that you can buy the Gainward GF3 Ti200 (aka TI450) for like $160.00 online through pricewatch. For $10 more, you can get tons more performance out of that 4ns ram on the card.
