Since you can't use the online coupon at an OD store, the best deal that I see for this drive is at BB. They are advertizing it for $89.99 -$30MIR - $15MIR = $44.99.

Since this is a weekly ad item, the easiest way to get it is in-store by choosing in-store pick-up.

May I ask how you got a $20- "instant" rebate. CAn't find anything on Google about that. And, the EBates link still is not working. DID find a 15- off for 75-. And of course the $30- mail-in rebate. Thanks for clarifying. -Paiwacket

Much like Mystic has already stated, you must change the "This order is scheduled for:" to "Pickup at a store" selection. Then choose "Update Shopping Cart", and the price will in fact drop to $78.76. Perhaps for those more visually inclined, they can view here.

After the mail-in rebate, it's only $33.61.

Is this deal deal or am I just blind. Where are you seeing this $20 IR? I'd assume it would be posted on the page but I certainly do not see it. It is now in my basket and it says $99.99. If I found the other rebates, it would still be ~$50.

As everyone has been saying, the $20 IR only shows up for orders with in store pick up, which I went ahead and did since it doesn't look like the online price is going be changing any time soon. I will find out tomorrow morning if I get any flak for using a online coupon at the OD Store without having the orginal with me as proof.

I just got my drive today and I plan to take my drive, receipt and this weeks ad to my local OD and see if they will credit me the $20 instant rebate. If they don't, I'll just return the drive.

I did that with the Maxtor 80GB that was on sale last week, but it up to store manager whether they want to credit back your $20. I just told him that I tried to get the price adjusted on-line but the CSR didn't seem to understand that the price was wrong so could I return the drive and rebuy it at the correct price, he then told the person at the checkout counter to simple adjusted the price as a exchange.

another thing you can do it call the local store and ask if it is in stock. The central CSR or online does not know what the actual store has in stock. Once you verify it is in stock in store, call a CSR, tell them you are having trouble ordering online because it is saying OOS, but you know it is in the store. They will then check with the actual store, make up some excuse why it is coming up OOS and place the order for you, usu. with the coupon.

I have done this 4 times with the previous 40GB maxtor HD. Everytime the web site said OOS, but the local store had plenty. once I told the CSR, they put the pick-up order through for me, with coupon and local store price, not web price.
