has anyone of you ever encountered problems with Maxis games?? eg. SimCity 3000, The Sims ....

seems like evertime i try to run any of these two games on my Athlon, it'll just kick me out after about a half hour to an hour of gameplay.

any ideas??
 
never have a problem on mine.. I have Simcity 3000 UL and The Sims.
I'm running K7 600 classic with Win98SE.

 
Both a friend of mine and myself had video conflicts with Maxis software, both he and I had to obtain updated software drivers for our video cards before we could play reliably.

The software titles and the video cards were different, but the resolution to the problem was the same. You might want to give it a shot.
