Matrix Revolutions Screener Hits Net!

Word in the rumor mills is that an advanced screener copy of Matrix Revolutions (unfinished CGI apparently in it as well) has already been leaked out onto the internet in China and is making its way around the internet already. This rumor hasn't been proven, but if it is true, that has got to be a record for ANY screener released by any group. I bet if it's true someone's gonna get hung by their cahoones for this one. 🙂

Again, this is only a rumor, but it seems to have quite a bit of truth behind it already. So true or not I'm leaning towards believing it.

Rumors have been wandering around Dalnet channels lately too about this as well as other IRC networks.

hehe. Well, the warez groups are getting better these days, that's for certain. The employees of these major studios that are doing the stealing and ripping off of these screeners are getting braver by the day too. I personally don't support warez one tiny bit as it hurts me just as much as anybody else.

The one thing I do find funny is that this happened already this far out. Personally, I hope it's not true and if it is, they fry the little thief and serve him with a side of "get a clue". 🙂

Unfortunately, Jason X sucked ass

If revolutions is anything like reloaded the same thing can be said about it.

Have you ever been to China? There's so much pirated/warez'ed sh!t over there I'm sure they couldn't give a rats ass. That one guy who leaked the Hulk got jail time but that was because it was in the U.S.

ok, how come those Chinese dudes would have such a Screener?
Well, for one, the chinese have no copyright laws, so it would be legal to have that over there.

Two, the biggest movie ripping groups all seem to be Chinese for some reason. At least that I know of.

I'd hardly call Reloaded "sucked ass". It wasn't up to expectations obviously, but "sucked ass" Jason X style is about as bad as movies get.

reloaded screeners were out before the movie was, and just like then, i won't ruin my experience by watching it on a 19" monitor

Tru'dat. Besides, why would you want to steal a copy of something that's 1) more fun to see in the theatre, and 2) supports the actors and studios that producted it. If it sucks, or you think it will, wait for video or just don't watch it. If you like it, go see the movie and support the actors and studios.

You'd be p*ssed if you worked for someone and slaved 16 hours a day 7 days a week and then they never payed you. Same idea with movies. Actors make their living by acting. So support them.

Revolutions better be good. Cuz Reloaded was suck! However, people have said that reloaded/revolutions should be considered to be one movie that was too long to sit through and was thus broken apart. Also, they make more money that way.

Heh, I found it hilarious how c-net called the Centropy release of the Reloaded " DVD Quality". All it was is several guys in the theater. Anyway, if it is leaked I'll get it soon enough. Yes, it will see it in theaters too 😛

Jason X was actually a direct-to-video release originally but was canned shortly before it was set to ship, about a year before the movie release or so. (Some leaked copies of it made their way onto IRC and such) If you thought the movie sucked you should have seen the original version; at the end Jason kills everyone, then manages to somehow figure out how to work a time machine stored on the ship. Yes, that's right, he does nothing but kill, yet somehow in the endless years between deaths of sexually frivolous teens he apparantly aquired a working knowledge of quantum mechanics. He activates the time machine, sending him back to 1978 (or whenever) at the location of the first movie, just before the killings start.

Yeah, isn't that great?

Was he uber-Jason at the time he went back in time? Cause that would be breaking all the previous movies.

I think he was actually. I only got this info second-hand from a friend. I didn't bother wasting the bandwidth downloading something that horrid.

i wouldn't say that, i bet there are laws. enforcement maybe lax is all. any country that wants to grow an intellectual property industry from music to technology needs ip laws. otherwise theres little incentive to create.
