Guns don't kill people. People kill people... with guns :frown:
Anyways, Indiana is a pro gun rights state. So... They got only themselves to blame.
Crazy people - nuissance.
Crazy people with guns - disaster.

That's nonsense. There are some liberal states (CA, NY) that want to implement strict gun control, but can't because of federal law. Indiana is not one of those states. Indiana politicians have supported gun rights on both local and national scene.
I myself don't want to outlaw guns. I enjoy going to the range once in a while myself. But I think that the aversion to ANY regulations on guns that exists in right-wing politics is illogical.

How the hell is Indiana to blame for the actions of a crazy man? He had a gun, that's Indiana's fault? The 35 folks that were shot apparently didn't have a gun, that's Indiana's fault too? You need to change your thinking.
Sane people - targets
Sane people with guns - targets that shoot back

OK, so let's all carry a gun to work. And to school. Let's give our kids guns so they can carry them around and shoot back if shot at. Wild west mentality at its finest.
You have no point. Your type of logic has gotten us from Columbine to Indiana with no progress and same results.

<< The first being unable to stop the violence between the citizens of both countries, the latter unable to cope with violence in the form of mass-shootings by its own citizens. >>

Our violent crime ate is at all time lows....not so with most of the world. Japan, Canada, England, Australia and more. Violent gun related crime is up!

<< But I think that the aversion to ANY regulations on guns that exists in right-wing politics is illogical. >>

A completely ignorant statement with ZERO basis in fact!

Nice "factoids". Up and down is relative. Look at the baseline. I am sure our gun crimes are much higher than those countries you mentioned.

Great response. No facts just BS. Since you are a rightwinger, I don't blame you.

Yes, let's have the option to carry guns to work. Yes, let's have armed personnel (not kids you idiot) in schools. Yes, let's teach our kids how to handle, use, and respect firearms for what they are- a tool. This type of logic has unfortunately not been implemented, so don't tell me it hasn't gotten us anywhere. It's YOUR logic has done a damn fine job of that.

Myself and others have facted you back to you lair time and time again. It is people like yourself that are devoid of opinion based on anything resembling facts.

Notice, a Liberal waiting for just such a tragedy to advance his agend? I told you so.

Yeah, lets turn this country into afganistan and carry AK47s with us wherever we go. That will solve all our problems
😕

Yeah. Talking about gun control after a gun shooting incident. Makes no sense. 🙂 Must be a Liberal conspiracy. 😕

There you go again! You want to limit choice!

Facts are that the more legal guns per square mile the less crime in the US.

I'll pick an AK, but some might want an AR or HK.

"An armed society is a polite society." There is no modern society in Afganistan. With freedom severly limited Afgans go through life fighting for every scrap. Keeping a populace wanting and pretending to fullfill that want leads to control.....wow...that describes Liberals too!

I want to limit choice? These people in Indiana have the right to go buy a gun. What good did it do them? It's people like you who want to limit choice by saying that we all need to own guns to be safe. I myself want to be safe without carrying a gun around with me.
You are comparing apples and oranges too. Legal guns are mostly in rural areas, so urban crime doesn't apply there. Why don't you compare Houston with Portland instead of comparing some farm town to L.A.
Oh, and last time I checked Taliban was a right wing government. Imposing their morals and religion, while providing no social services to their citizens. Sounds like where the republicans want to take our country.

<< These people in Indiana have the right to go buy a gun. What good did it do them? >>

I'll bet that no guns were allowed on the premisis as is the case with most all businesses. A lot of good it did preventing someone to defend themselves now didn't it. They deny guns not because of any real threat, but because of the expense of legal action.

Once again you are completely wrong! How do you get right wing? Passing idiotic laws to get their way is a Liberal tactic. Limiting personal freedom and state dependency is how Liberals get elected.

The type of crime that big cities have is a result of the people refusing to take charge and demand action. Violent crime of any kind is frowned upon in rural America. Here, we do not wait for the cops to do our dirty work. A criminal's worst nightmare is an armed civilian and they know it! Result? Lower violent crime.

Take the terrorists out of Israel and you find a very low violent crime rate. Everyone carries UZIs! Near everyone is armed.

Taliban not right wing? Go take a government class. Next thing you'll tell me is that they are not conservative. Tominator, you are in denial.
Taliban and GOP have in common:
Against separation of church and state.
Against government provided social safety net.
Against womens rights to control their bodies.
For everyone being armed.
For government control of culture.
Against art that is offensive to their religion.
For military kangaroo courts.

And the list goes on and on.

Sure, Taliban is far right of GOP on most issues, but they are right wing extremists by any measure.
